I am very happy!
10 years ago, before the Sigur Ros concert at Colors of Ostrava, I had a cardiac arrest. The Czech rescue team saved my life, then I had an ICD implanted. After ten years I have a new ICD due to a dead battery, there's a new album from my favorite band, after 10 years... and we're going to a concert in Šibenik!
My Favorite song of the album and I just saw them performing this live in Athens under the Acropolis.
This has a distinct and very nostalgic Von/Ágætis vibe I really dig. Like visiting your crumbling childhood home and seeing your old bedroom again.
Or even older...seing, remembering your Past lives. Intense 💝

I live in a relatively forgotten part of Afirca where there are other wonders to behold and experience but I doubt it would ever be commercially viable for Sigur Rós to consider playing. I took my daughter once to see them in Lisbon... I hope to be able to do that again one day. Have a great day!

Bad is the wrong word. Atta is a trillion times more ambient than Valtari already was. Klettur is about the only track that has actual song structure
