the project is really cool. i don't 3d print but i'm thinking about getting a printer because i've come across some really cool projects. a nice touch would be turning the period into an on/off switch if the led strip doesn't come with a remote
Really awesome outcome - I've been wanting to do something like this for a while now but it's quite challenging in Tinkercad (which is my goto for designing models ATM). I really need to move on to something more substantial though! If I could make one suggestion... replace that RGB strip with individually addressable LED's and power them with a Microcontroller using WLED. There are lots of off the shelf WLED controllers now if you want something a bit more polished, but honestly you could easily hide the whole controller inside the light and just have an exposed usb connector for 5v power on the back. It'll give you tons of flexibility, more effects, an app to control colours and even scheduling and more!
Hi, love this light box, and I'd love to make some of them. However, I've only just started printing, and I have no idea how to use Fusion yet, and this was a very quick video. But, love how it turned out.
Thanks for the comment and feedback. I’ve had similar insights from other viewers, so point definitely noted. I’ll avoid speeding parts of videos up in the future. Thanks again 👌🏼
Solid choice - I haven’t had a chance to test one myself but from what I hear, it’s a fast and reliable machine. Good luck with your exciting projects 👌🏼
@@JustMakeIt_YThey, love the outcome, but I only work in FreeCad and couldn't replicate it in Fusion360 Any chance that there are CAD files for this somewhere? Please and thank you
Not a tutorial at all. More like "Look how fast I can do shit in Fusion" Not very beginner friendly at all. The UI of Fusion is not very intuitive whatsoever.
Fair comment. I’ve had similar feedback from other commenters, so definitely something I’ll take into consideration going forward. Thanks for the feedback 👌🏼
Amazing❤❤❤
Great looking result.
Hey, thanks for the kind comment!
nice tutorial, clear and easy to undrestand. thanks for it.
Thanks for the comment friend!

That’s a really good idea, definitely something to try next time.
As for getting a printer - highly recommended!

That’s a really good idea, using addressable LEDs. Might be the premise for MK2!
Great video! :)

I am so excited to get my first 3d printer this Friday!! I cant wait to start creating products like this!!
Glad to hear it man - which one did you get?
@@JustMakeIt_YT the BambuLabs A1 Mini. I didn’t realize the four spool accessory was an option 🤔. But it can be ordered later!

@@JustMakeIt_YT thank you!!
Great video. I may try this. Do these LED strips generate any heat? Are you concerned about that? I haven't worked with them before.
Thank you 👌🏼
I’ve had the sign up on my wall since I published the video, LEDs powered on, and have had no issues with heat.
Thanks for the video! Could you share the CAD or 3D STL files that you used to make your sign? Would be nice to first try yours before making my own.
I’m going to start uploading my designs onto a platform like Printables or Thangs - it’s on my to-do list!

do you have a detail video on fusion 360? so the beginner can follow your step hehehhe
Just uploaded a video on my channel 👌🏼
@@JustMakeIt_YT thankyou
I like how fast you speed the video up so we can’t see what settings you are actually using… L tutorial
Thanks for the feedback - definitely noted for future videos 👌🏼
You realize you can change the playback speed on these videos, right? If it’s too fast, just slow it down 🙄
First time on RUclips?
@@bryanfoster362 Even at the slowest speed, it's still too fast to see.
now make it parametric for scad each section 2 letters and I will call this video useful; otherwise waste of time! mK?

@@JustMakeIt_YT I mean I am working on a project so I came across this. But I am brand new to Fusion. Maybe you can make a more detailed tutorial?
