Ong, the demo was the first version of Minecraft I had ever played. I remembered the small inventory, going into creative and spawning thousands of mobs because I was scared of being alone with "Herobrine", building my houses in the sky because I was scared, made out of diamonds, cluttered with every item in the game. I remember recreating villages with gravel for path and failing miserably. The unknown, mining my first vain of iron in survival, (ever), and hiding underground in the night, wondering what this game was capable of. Those were the good days man 😢
@@Kraekan alright, i'll tell you, thanks! Basically at the time (around 2017 i think), i started seeing minecraft everywhere online, without knowing what it was. I particularly remember people making pixel art stuff, which made me want to download the game. So i went on the official minecraft website, and downloaded it... i downloaded the demo version, without really understanding that, and not knowing there was also a, separate, full version I started playing it, i created the demo world, and it was completely new to me. I did not imagine the game to look like this, gameplay-wise. So i opened the bonus chest, did basic stuff like getting wood... I remember being very scared of the night, with all of the monsters appearing, having only 4 torches (from the bonus chest) and no idea how to craft a torch, nor a bed... i kept dying and losing my inventory, it was hard. Also, i didnt know you could change the slot on the hotbar, so i switched stuff to the first slot by opening my inventory every time i needed it lol 😅 Because it was the demo world, it was "locked" after 1h40 of gameplay iirc (basically we couldnt place or delete blocks anymore). I used to build wooden houses every time, each being different in some way. i somehow knew how to make glass blocks (and glass panes i think), but still not torches lol (it was in 1.10.2 exactly, so all of the "recipe" features werent added yet, so i had to guess the crafts) But i didnt stop there... I used mcedit (a minecraft world and schematic files editor) to place blocks in the world, i placed blocks that i had absolutely no idea how to craft, like bed, bricks, tnt's and redstone torches. The way i placed beds and redstone torches were buggy, but i could break the half-bed block to get a full bed, which i later placed in my house. I also remember placing big spheres of blocks, using mcedit, and carve into them to make a house interior. I also discovered the 256 blocks limit, by making a sphere so huge, that it hit the limit. it was an attempt of me trying to recreate a "flat world" Then, i discovered creative mode. i saw many youtubers using creative mode, and i had absolutely no idea how to enable it. I also didnt know that there was a "full" version of minecraft until i discovered creative mode lol. So, by using the "open to LAN" feature, i managed to enable cheats in my world, and i could set myself in creative mode. I remember placing stuff made of acacia wood, and spawning A LOT of villagers, because i felt lonely... lol I also remember that i found a "bug" which allowed you to clip through trapdoors if you were inside of them when you close them Now thinking about all of this, there were a lot of limitations set by the "demo" version/features, but i somehow managed to push them as much as possible... without even knowing basic stuff about the game lmao. It was really fun and interesting, and i now have a lot of nostalgia thinking about those early days of me playing minecraft! Thanks for reading this (if you did), and im glad i could share my experience with someone! -(i wrote a whole essay lmao)-

I still remember when i had my xbox 360 at the age of 8-9 and i downloaded a world,a city to be exactly,i was near the beach and then this masterpiece started
Man I remember this playing on ps4 with the old texture packs and I remember waking up on summer playing minecraft and loving life but now it's boring just boring the things I would do to go back in time and relive it all man...
the fact i started mc with legacy console at the age of 4, i got the hang of the wii u when i was 3 in 2016, i eather started mc in E2017 or M2017, the fact that this hits hard and nostalgic to me, a 10 year old who matured fast somehow (edit: i now realised by the time i started mc i was playing 1.11 for legacy console and then when i got to java edition when i was 4 or 5 1.12 was out)
This played in the Title Screen in the PS4 and even in Creative Mode (I forgot if it played in Survival Mode. This gave me so much memories since I always heard in the Tutorial Mode
So much nostalgia of when my friends in the summer would come over to my house and we would take turns playing on my Xbox 360 since we only had 2 controllers and there were 3 of us... so many memories that this song carries with me..
