Not sure why they would nerf their own product; it just doesn’t make sense. I have a mini 2s right now and was naturally curious about the new one. If my board ever dies I hope I can find another 2s for a reasonable price.
@MeepoElectricSkateboard what kind of company representation is this? You keep selling the 5 on Amazon with reviews based on the 2? You know the 5 is a turd, but keep selling them and say youll fix it "later"? There is a known issue with the 5 motors falling apart and you're doing nothing for the suckers who bought a 5? You're known to take months to supply warranty parts? There are hundreds of reddit threads on your poor customer service? You claim the reason for poorly performing 5 is "drunk design"? Everyone who bought a 5 should be pissed...if not now, they will regret it "later".
Thanks! I have a Boosted Mini X that I've owned since like, 2017. I stripped the screws that connect the belt shields, so I haven't been using it. I was thinking up upgrading to a Meepo Mini but it's hard to decide without seeing how they compare. I wouldn't want to get a new board that's not as good as my old one. The thing I really dislike is dealing with the belts. If I could get a board that's the same or better without belts, that would be something worth buying right away.
Also, I purchased replacement screws but they were too short. So going to hardware store soon to just fix my board and ride it till it dies and then get a new one, hopefully they'll be even better then.
I have a mini 2 er that my 120# son rides and he’s getting over 30 miles with a couple huge hill climbs. He has about 300 miles on it and I’m thrilled he can ride with me for so long. I ride the same route with the hurricane and 90mm @ 180# and I get a little over 50 miles! I bought both boards on the initial release too. He wants a long board now for such long trips, always wanting to switch with me.😂 not so sure I’ll stick with meepo heard the ultra is a downgrade as well.
I broke my collarbone in two places on my mini 2 and currently in the market for another one which will be my 5th e board and I’m ecstatic meepo is the best value board I think I’ll go with the mini 5 my dream board is exway wave that’s when I’m fully healed though gotta live a little dangerously to get that experience under you’re belt
i Have Both , and i transferred everything from the 5ER to a Retro Deck ..... I will Absolutely do the same with the 2ER . Those Guys who Make those Mini's Seem to HAVE NEVER BEEN in a Street Skate . they forgot The Essentials , Real decent TAIL and NOSE , this is where 70% of Street skateboard control is , Not like a Long Board where Carving is 100% ! That's the Major issue with Most Mini's . now they got one with a Tail but not a street skate Mini , its a surf like ugly looking thing , but at least it has a Tail .
Tynee Mini 3 Pro is the new king of the hill, i have two meepo minis, the hobbywing early mini 2 and another mini 2 with 100mm and Cloud wheels... why is Meepo going backwards... I just ordered a Tynee Explorer with Molicels and the new 80a esc (to upgrade from a gtx), can't wait to ride it! Still love Meepo, but why go backwards, higher profit margins?? Reply
Bro ive got both and the batteries are not identical. So the mini 2 er uses 27500 cells (correct me i cant remember what size those ones are) and the 5 uses 18650 cells. The 27500 cells are supperior so even the battery is better. At least mine use these two different cells
Mini 5 is a downgrade but why harp so much on the bushings? It’s the weakest argument in the video. Unless you don’t know how to change the bushings somehow it’s an easy and cheap fix.
Thank you. Got a 2 ER because of this video.
Hell Yea!!!
thank you for this review! I always thought it wasn't worth buying a new Meepo board if the stats are still the same.
Great video! Bro. We are very sorry to hear about you are hurt! 😭
Thanks Bro
I own both boards , very accurate review!. Love the boards I’m about to buy the Aurora or Envy.
8:31 I felt that gush of fear in my marrow

A non-skater got hired to design the mini 5. No other explanation
We realize our stupidity and will do the right thing later.

I agree. I noticed that there isn't much kick on E skates
Evolve Short is still the best mini board! It 3 years old but still is great!

Thank u for your sacrifice😢 great vid
Thanks for watching!
Do the kingpins on longboard trucks typically face forward? I have been skateboarding most of my life and the kingpins face in towards each other.
Who what dude? Cruise controlllllllll?! I been missin out man i gotta figure that out
It's a great feture
How do you do cruise control?

I just bought a mini 2 of ebay used For 300$ I can't find the mini 2 new anymore

Redondo Beach!

Yea true... I just don't want to deal with it. The biggest drawback is the acceleration difference
Very informative thank you
Very welcome
Where can I get the 2s in 2023?
I got it from Amazon
kkk so funny review style i like it thank you
Mini 2 is not available anymore lol
The new Meepo boards are a downgrade
Yes
