Have been playing Girls' Frontline since 2017 and always love to see new content about GFL. Unfortunately videos about it rarely receive many views, so I'm really glad you reacted it even if its only a on off.
Man it makes me so happy to see someone react to Girls Frontline music considering how underground it is compared to giants like Genshin and Arknights I loved how you went into the music theory of it and pointed out things that i never heard before while listening As for other GFL music recommendations Please please please also check out the tracks 'Mythoclast' and its other versions titled 'Shark and Sea' and 'Reunion' They are instrumental pieces tied to a very important character in the Girls Frontline story There is a very evident progression in emotions that the tracks convey (especially when you get to Reunion), so i would love to see your take on what you imagine the music represents as a person who (to my knowledge) has no idea what the story and its themes and characters are
Girls Frontline would be more popular if they toned down the difficulty of the stages (farming events became a painful chore, instead of being a chill activity) and made all the "Events" new chapters content instead of being limited time. It's especially bad that a lot of the events have really important story/plot lore that can be missed if you took a break like I did. And don't even get me started about a lot of game-changing gear for certain is locked behind the cancerous Ranked system. I have no interest in farming a six-hour-long ranked map. And the equally awful costume gacha. Personally, I got really tired of them never bringing back M16 and never elaborating on her story, so I simply quit. I have much better games to play that don't waste my time and money.
@@Spectacular_Insanity Even if you take a break, theres still multiple people who post the cutscenes on youtube to watch Besides, the gameplay has gotten a lot more casual-user friendly over the years, ranked mode is now way more optional as the majority of special equipment can either be acquired from gray zone exploration or from the store in forward basecamp Also, you never needed to spend actual money to play the game, the doll gacha only spends in-game resources and you can get tokens for the costume gacha just by doing daily missions But gameplay aside, im talking about story and music here I dont know where you left off, but M16 comes back quite often. She behaves more like a guardian angel that only steps in when she needs to. She just has things to do that dont lead paralel to the rest of the characters, hence why their paths cross so rarely
I play Arknights for 3(?) years now. And just recently discovered the OST of GFL. I vaguely knew about connections between the games, Lowlight worked there and apparently even designed a few characters. The premise is somewhat similar (this might be a stretch, I'm not really familiar with GFL story) - a post-apocalyptic fucked up world with military groups, etc. A few GFL tracks I listened to, including this one, they are...just wow. Very high quality. Very well made. I might never play GFL myself, but this is EXACTLY how I started to play Arknights - I just randomly bumped into a few tracks that are really remarkable, I check the characters, I checked the story bits. And started to play the game. My point is that music alone can motivate you to play a video game. Or at least magnetize you to learn more about it. GFL's music is definitely really good from what I've listened to so far.
Let's go! I just really want to see you analyze/react to the song. I have two more GFL songs I would like to see you react in the future, which are "A moment of My nightmare" and "Twilight".
Won't lie to you, i love where the music is, but if viewership struggles for GFL I probably won't get to it often. It's been so long that this was basically just to see where they are and how people respond to it. If it gets the same attention as my usual videos, I'll be able to justify more quicker 👀
@@CatharsisYT yeah I understand. Its fine if you won't do more if this video doesn't get the views it needs to justify doing more. GFL has always been very very very niche but hey, at least I got you to react to some of their songs. I thank you for that.
Hope you can react to Luna say maybe, is an idol song for idolmaster and it almost hit 1m views, it's kind of different and the song really reflect the personality of the singer, a girl that doesn't know how to express herself but when she does she goes full. you can also find de english translation on youtube
Damm, unexpected nostalgia

One of the best ED song from GFL.
