Evan, I remember the first time I heard you play. At first, I thought I was listening to Benny Goodman, but it was much better! I was attending a jazz concert at Fullerton College many many years ago with friends. Cruz was the director and I remember you telling the story about College, Parents, and wanting to follow your music dreams. You certainly made it all come true! Best regards from the Garlic Capital of the World.
Amazing as always! You and Mr. Torkanowsky make true, original sounds together that inspire me every time. I aspire to perform at your level every day since I first heard you play. Im originally a saxophone player, but I now have a deep passion for New Orleans clarinet thanks to you! I purchased an Albert system and your mouthpiece just to get close to your amazing sound. I only wish I lived in new Orleans so I could hear you live! I hope to keep hearing you play for many years to come!
@@heinvanmaarschalkerwaart9799 I bought a Paul Dupre Albert system, actually. I searched for a long time but couldn’t find anything closer to what Mr. Christopher plays.
@@Clarinetroad well, I was actually just curious what you look for in a reed? I’m having trouble getting a set-up that doesn’t feel so heavy, if that makes sense. The EC model is the best I’ve ever played, my chops just need a lot of work.
