Polytope XIa | An audiovisual exploration of Speicher XI A, inspired by Iannis Xenakis

On the occasion of the 100th birthday of the composer, architect and multimedia artist Iannis Xenakis, students of both faculties of the University of the Arts Bremen have studied his Polytope de Cluny (1972), an early milestone of immersive digital media art. The original audio tracks were interpreted on a 3D loudspeaker setup and juxtaposed with a complex light production, developed specifically for Speicher XI A.
