My name is Patrick Bateman. I'm 27 years old. I believe in taking care of myself, in a balanced diet, in a rigorous exercise routine. In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an icepack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now. After I remove the icepack, I use a deep-pore cleanser lotion. In the shower, I use a water-activated gel cleanser. Then a honey-almond bodyscrub. And on the face, an exfoliating gel-scrub. Then I apply an herb mint facial masque,
which I leave on for ten minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an aftershave lotion with little or no alcohol,
because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm, followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.
There is an idea of a Patrick Bateman. Some kind of abstraction, but there is no real me. Only an entity-- something illusory.
And though I can hide my cold gaze...
and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours... and maybe you can even sense our life styles are probably comparable, I simply am not there.

It's a good edit, and a great song choice, but I just can't pinpoint the tone. The editing style and filter makes it feel genuine and "aesthetic". The shots start out kind of romantic or shippy, but the shot choice in the latter part makes it feel creepy or as if we are shown Shinji's worst most lecherous moments in an attempt to show Shinji in a bad light. Then the matchup of Shinji screaming with the hook of the song seemed like a joke (not a joke as in it was done poorly, simply that it was meant to be comedic). I think if one of these ideas was focused on, this could be a better rounded edit. Regardless, it was well edited and interesting to watch, and the end really did get a chuckle out of me, (Sorry if that wasn't your intent).
@@piercedfangs I suppose that's fair. At the very least, I think it should be more centered towards Asuka and Shinji by removing the one shot of Rei at 0:04. It feels like the end could be the culmination of Shinji and Asuka's relationship if the setup didn't have the Rei scene.
do not worry, if in the video I did not seek to transmit anything it was simply a random edit or relief could be said. I really appreciate the point of view and I will consider some things from now on to edit.
