    Love that Actually Private Rolls mod. Just added it based on your suggestion. Now I can add tokens to the battlefield completely secretly. Thanks!

    Hey, thanks for the wonderful content! Sending a super thanks 1) to celebrate your new YT status, 2) to ask probably an impossibly stupid question: I only recently got Foundry, and a lot of the mods I've watched you use are not compatible with the newest version. Is there a place to get older versions, or - for an artist who brain no code gud- is there a way to get the mod and Foundry to play nice together? Thank you so much for your clear, concise, and friendily-informative videos, and thanks for any enlightenment on the version/mod issue.

      Thank you so much for the Super Thanks! It means so much to me! Version 11 of Foundry is still relatively new and it had some big changes which broke a lot of modules. If a module doesn't have support for version 11 then you have to wait for the developer to add support for it. But the good news is that you can install previous versions of Foundry! You just go to the Foundry website, log in with your account, click on your name in the top right, go to "Purchased Licenses", and then choose the version you want from the "Download Version" dropdown menu and hit the download button. Version 10 is a solid version so if you get the latest stable release of version 10, you should be fine.

      @@halarkin It’s super easy to miss so I don’t blame you! Btw Foundry is going to say that there is a new version available but don’t update because that will update to version 11

    Thanks for another great vid Fond! So you choose Ready, Set Roll over Midi-QOL? Intersting. I'd love to see a comparison video on the two. I'd stopped using Better Rolls a while back and I love Midi-QO but there is a LOT going on ;0)

    What's keeping you on V10 instead of upgrading to V11? Just curious about what specifically is keeping you there.

    • @DiceAndEasy
      @DiceAndEasy  Год назад +1

      I’m running several games at the moment and I haven’t had the time to copy one of the worlds, take it to v11, and see what is and isn’t working. I want to do that to assess the situation before jumping so that I don’t break all my different games

    One thing to be aware of, Chat Portrait and Ready Set Roll both seem to have been abandoned or the authors not responding to issues for a while now.

    • @DiceAndEasy
      @DiceAndEasy  Год назад

      Ready Set Roll was last updated 1.5 weeks ago so I wouldn’t call it abandoned. Chat Portrait hasn’t been updated in over 3 months so it’s a bit unsure if there will ve updated

    Currently looking for a mod which changes the way the rolls are shown in the chat. I feel like wasting time looking for the numbers when my players roll from dndbeyond with adv or disadv i.e.
    Would be cool to just make the numbers bigger or something like that 😄

    • @DiceAndEasy
      @DiceAndEasy  Год назад

      Are you using a module like Beyond20 or DDB Gamelog to display the DnD Beyond rolls in Foundry?
      I don't know of a module that makes roll numbers bigger but if you go to the core settings in Foundry, you can change the general font size so that all text is bigger. Furthermore, if you're using Midi QOL, you can go to the Workflow settings, then go to the Misc tab, and there Color code Hit/Miss/Save Display which will add an extra color to the roll result depending on if it hit or miss.

    • @GendefectX
      @GendefectX Год назад

      @@DiceAndEasy Yes, I am using Beyond20. It's not that the numbers are to small to read.. I just find it a bit cluttered. :)
      I will try your tips, thanks a bunch and keep it up!

    Is there any modules for chat that seperate battle stuff like rolls and dialog? My main group has like 5 people excluding the DM. Gets easy to lose when people say somethin cause of all that. Or maybe seperate chat instances.

    • @DiceAndEasy
      @DiceAndEasy  Год назад

      The only module like that I could find is called Tabbed Chatlog which splits chat into in character messages, combat rolls, and out of chatacter messages. But it hasn’t been updated since v9 so don’t know how well it will work with v10 and v11.
