It’s always a pleasure watching you work and the music of Welton and Fritz is such pleasurable bonus. They are great.
Thank you Ron. I'm certainly enjoying your music as well... and that pneumatic power hammer, WOW!
I really like to watch your videos, the building processes and all, but this new music turned it into a real delight! Please put some more awesome resonator musicians playing along the builds!
Thank you. I agree on the music, I just made episode 3 and only used 1 or 2 of Paul's songs and it's just not as good at all. I like your idea to use other independent players music, I might reach out to a few of my favorites and see if I can use more resonator stuff.
Another great video - impressive work. You were not wrong about the music😀🎵😀
Glad you enjoyed it. I wish there was an album I could stream while I'm working on these things.
Brilliant, very nice !!!
Learning by experience, the music's great
I love that music, wish there was an album. Experience is the only learning I really trust, reading or hearing is great but doing is better. Thanks for following along.
Hope you feel better soon, James!
It's amazing to see the difference between guitar 1 and guitar 2. I am so looking forward to seeing this one finished! Thanks for sharing.
Great stuff as per usual! I love how you ''mimic the blade cutting" mmmaarrmarrmarrrmarr! Next video, only sound effects and then the finished piece appears. The sander goes vrroooom woooosh woosh! Have a good one man! Hope you enjoyed the laugh of the day. Maybe you could get Mr.Welton to demo your guitars??
Hallo James I admire your imperturbability when you make mistakes or things go wrong. This is something I need to learn for myself LOL.
I personally prefer playing on guitars with solid headstock. Are they harder to do than slotted headstocks? Best regards Paul
Hi Paul, the solid ones are way easier. I need to come up with a solid headstock design I like for these. Thanks for checking it out.
I've really enjoyed these builds. I might try to build one someday, but that's for Future Me.
Will you make a resonator with a cutaway? I'd love to see that build.
For the mini humbucker hole, what if you cut the straight lines 'in' about a quarter inch and bent the flaps over/down to the finished dimension? I don't think the strength is needed, but it might look nice.
Thank you for so much inspiration and knowledge!
I am working on a cutaway brass version now. See the latest uploads for build 3. Thanks for the tips on the pickup cavity. I have incorporated it into my CAD plans and the pickup hole is laser cut into my tops now, not sure why I didn't think of that on these first two. Oh well, live and learn.
@@Ninety2guits I just saw Build 2 Ep 5, and it is much better (from a production standpoint) to just have it pre-cut. I am looking forward to watching the brass build videos too. Thanks again for such great content!
Hello Ninety2 guitar shop, I watch your work from France,
What paint (weldable primer?) do you paint the inside of your guitar with?
Thank you for your reply and your videos.
I'm using the VHT flame proof paint. I'm not using a weld through primer but I am considering using it on the next one underneath the VHT flame proof paint. I'm trying to get as thin of a layer of paint on the inside as possible and still keep rust down which is why I haven't used primer yet. Thanks for checking it out.
So can’t you put the less beautiful part of the neck in the body? Good music!
Well, uh... yeah I guess I could. I mean that was my plan all along. Good thinking Dane.
You briefly mentioned wax - maybe I missed it, but which wax are you using on the body?
I'm using Simoniz carnuba wax. It feels pretty good on the body and seems to be lasting so far. Unfortunately I don't have any long term data with this stuff yet.
@@Ninety2guits Thanks - good to know.
