AUDI Q3 TO REMOVE , CODING IN AIR BAG SQUIB USING VCDS, PARTS ALSO FITS OTHER VAG CARS (2016)

JUST to update i took the car for a test drive and i had no codes on the engine ecu when i came back so i now think the ecu got the butt because it had a foreign module coded wrong in the system but definitely all good now
AC was nice on the journey lol
i do like entrepreneur i just wish i thought of it first

Hi Trevor I’ll get the vin number when I get home , the fault is I don’t have any steering wheel controls working at all , the paddle shifts don’t work , the horn works ok and the controls light up on the steering wheel ok , there are no warning amber lights showing either. I did have the warning lights on for the abs , traction control etc and the steering wheel light symbol was on , I have had a new abs sensor fitted and they have all gone out now regards Peter

Hi Trevor great video !, I have a 2013 Audi q3 the horn works ok and there are no airbag light etc on , do you think it’s the squib faulty or could it be a fuse ? Also do yiu happen to have the original part No regards Peter

Hi dude! Can you not use the old clock spring as a reference for the coding? I’ve fitted one to my mates car without realising it needs coding… 🤦‍♂️

Don’t worry I did that the first time to every days a learning day but make sure it’s the same part no first
Yes sir the long coding is on the old clock you transfer that number to your new clock use vag com or any decent scanner to program it in
