I am from Chile, I have learned to love Creole music and Cajun music. Thanks so much! Cedric, you are a great artist, I enjoy your presentation. What a gift to music :)!!!
So much respect for how much knowledge Cedric is dropping on global & cultural history. Ive been obsessed for a few days watching all his content, seriously both a revolutionary and legendary storyteller, preserving Creole culture & history through music.
Hey cedric . I saw you with Corey earlier / yesterday and would like Express my gratitude and thanks.i have never heard a self accompanied violin being played like that with such rhythm and phrasing more akin to that of a guitar and marine and blues harp, fused with the almost Johnny gimble country or mountain fiddle mixed with that of creole French and for English and Irish folk sea shanties. In terms of routes and genre is American ala creole, west African, Haitian...or just a mix. Likewise with the accordion? Is that a standard axxordian and not a piano accordion. Not a concertina or harmoniummm. In English folk we have concertina and accordion. Does Clifton chenier use an accordion. Anyway, i was deeply impressed . Dom Brace
