4.50 them lifts they dont look it but you can safety break them you just gently get the doors when it goes up its amazing has a really nice safety break they dont do the lester thing tho they wait for like 15 seconds then move a funny way to the floor and i say that as it leaves your stomach behind idk if the motors are still schindler as well as the emergency brakes
I've known about the M&S modernization for ages, and this is the first video of it I've seen. Looks very nice, a good freshen up for some lifts that were locking a little tatty.
6:51 Did you find that on P2 or P4? If that was P4 then that lift has never been filmed at all! If you were on P2 then that's most likely the one that was getting a lot of attention a few years ago.
@@TransportEnthusiast81 I looked at some videos of that Schindler lift that was gaining a lot of attention a few years ago and this is definitely a different lift, the lobby area looks completely different, unless they've changed the layout of it, but I doubt that, it looks way too different. That means there's at least 3 if not more original Schindler M Serieses dotted around the car park! If you ever go there again make sure to look for the other known 2, the one which goes up to P4 (the spooky one) is almost definitely permanently out of service however the other one which goes up to P2 may still be in service!

nobody who isnt a lift tamperer does safety brakes.. it wears the brakes out quickly
At least the motor is still original on the Schindler mod m series lifts that go to p4

The lifts in M&S were originally old Jackson lifts with drucegrove indicators and voice these were replaced in 2020 with new Jackson mod
