I'll be brief, overall TLP gave much more than a GL can offer. Production, direction, acting, soundtrack, visuals and an even better adaptation, more careful than the book version, and honestly I'm not surprised, the person who adapted the book is a screenwriter who is part of the Thai writers' society. It raised the bar for Thai dramas and took GL to a different level, I hope the series wins a few awards in 2025, it is undoubtedly the best period drama in a long time.

I really hate the fact that everyone was laughing against the suffering of Pin like if her feelings doesn’t matter… after that everything was great, I love the differences with the book because here Pin is more brave and talk with her Highness; anyway waiting new reactions, new series to come; you are doing an excellent work as always ❤
If we all have a brother like Anin's older brother, this world could be even much better 😂😂😂. Freen Becky has left the other GL couples more than a mountain to climb. It's gonna be hard watching other couples without making references to them as the expected standards
Me encantaron los dos finales tanto esta adaptacion como el libro son completamente diferentes, en el libro en cuanto Anin vuelve despues de ver como esta Pin y pasar la noche con ella cuidandola lo primero que hace es hablar con su Padre para pedir permiso (ella ya habia armado un plan desde antes de irse a Hua hin con su hermano en el libro ella no se encarga de convencer a la chica embarazada ni de seguir a Kuea eso lo hace Prik ayudada por el hermano Anin no se mete en eso solo manda a Prik y espera que la chica embarazada impida la boda pero si no es asi tiene plan de respaldo con su hermano que si la chica no aparece es el quien va a exponer a Kuea delante de todos aunque eso pueda traerle consecuencias a las familias) Anin va a hablar con su Padre decidida pero muy nerviosa y con algo de miedo de que su padre no la entienda y las cosas no salgan como ella lo planeo (ya que en el libro siempre dejan claro que Anin es muy inteligente y estratega como una jugadora de ajedrez armando su estrategia perfecta para conseguir lo que quiere) El padre nunca se enoja con Anin solo se hace el ofendido diciendole que era el ultimo en enterarse y Anin lo molesta diciendole que todavia falta su segundo hermano por saberlo los dos hablan profundamente y el padre reconoce que nunca vio el brillo en los ojos de Anin como cuando ella le habla de lo que siente por Pin y le asegura que ella nunca se va a interesar por nadie mas porque esta enamorada de Pin desde los 14 años y ese sentimiento solo ha ido creciendo y fortaleciendose el padre le pregunta porque no fue a hablar con el inmediatamente cuando hicieron que Pin se comprometa con Kuea y ella le dice que fue para demostrar que su amor no era algo para tomar a la ligera que era profundo y meditado y que sabia que Kuea iba a caer por sus propias acciones entonces se une su hermano a la charla y le dice que el ayudo a su hermana porque no quiere que pase lo mismo que el de no poder estar con la persona que ama y ahi le dice que sabe que nunca penso en casar a su hija primero porque no encontraba a ningun hombre lo suficientemente bueno para ella y segundo porque no queria que su hija se vaya de su lado y entonces el padre dice que es verdad que cada vez que intenta imaginar a su hija con algun hombre ninguno le parece bueno y siempre le resulta incorrecto pero cuando la imagina con lady Pin parece que todo encaja no ve nada incorrecto entonces le dice a su hija que haga las cosas como ella crea mejor que tiene su aprovacion y apoyo despues de eso recien ahi Anin habla con la tia Patt se piden disculpas mutuamente y Anin le pide permiso a la tia para que Pin se mude definitivamente con ella la tia al principio muestra un poquito de resistencia diciendole que si su padre se entera seguro se enoje y Anin le dice que su padre ya sabe todo y le dio su aprovacion y consentimiento para que las cosas se hagan como ella quiera entonces la tia Patt ya no puede oponerse (no existe el falso secuestro ni la sorpresa entonces la princesa Patt entiende que los regalos que le da la princesa Alissa son como una dote porque sabia que cuando Anin hablara con su padre lo siguiente hiba ser pedir que Pin se mude con ella) despues te cuentan como entre las dos van decorando todo el palacio del Pino con las cosas de Pin especialmente el dormitorio y hay muchos detalles de los 5 años despues (lo mas lindo es que cuentan la interaccion de ellas dos con su sobrina Alin que en el libro cuentan que ella ama a sus tias Pin y Anin mas que a nadie incluso prefiere pasar tiempo con ellas que con sus propios padres cuentan que a lo unico que Alin tiene miedo es que su tia favorita Pin deje de amarla porque se entero que no es de su misma sangre pero Pin la ama porque le recuerda a Anin cuando era chica y tanto Anin como Pin aman a Alin como si fuera su propia hija)
The best love scenes are from FreenBeck really nobody like them. All the scenes are real the kisses are real They confirm that and after Becca Birthday´s Video by Freen I don't hve any doubts about what we saw and felt what we felt. They're so magical and real.
I don't like how they traumatized Pin for a "surprise", but I do appreciate the Father's point of view. As a man, especially one that cherish his only daughter, he will never be satisfied seeing her with another man, but a woman isn't a problem. It actually makes a lot of sense. Men understand other men and don't want any of them for their girls. Lol.
So Princess Patt was in a cage just like PIn. Honestly, I think when Pin decided to stand up for Anin and talk to her dad, and Patt agreed to follow her decision and stand by here (even though it was WAY AGAINST PROTOCOL) no matter what, it really broke both of them from their cages. It's why Patt was so apprehensive with Alisa. She's towed the same line (and been in the same cage) that she taught Pin for pretty much all her life, except for basically the fleeting 15min of being with Princess Im. I see Princess Patt as a tragic character. Sasa has been through so much. Sasa is his own character, and has seen so much. I give Sasa 10 chillies. So Freen and Becky really told the rest of the GL couples to hold their beer in that last love scene. Anin and Pin are basically married...just not government official. Pia's actually not in the book, but Prik does have an epilogue story.
I have such mixed feelings about this show. Now, I don't mean this as hate towards FreenBecky they were awesome. Please be kind. The acting was amazing (ofc it's FreenBecky), the way it was shot was amazing, but I find the script kind of lacking. And the last episode just sealed it for me. Anin in the novel would never agree to deceive Pin this way. After all Pin went through, this was just so cruel to do. And Anin always was and is the biggest Pin protector. This just didn't make any sense. The show wasn't really my cup of tea, even though I loved the novel. I don't know... something just got lost in the process of remaking it into a show. I am so very happy FreenBecky were the ones who played this story out. I really couldn't imagine anyone else acting out the lovestory of Anin and Pin. I loved the way they showed Thai tradition ❤ I guess this just didn't hit right for me. I am so excited for the next FreenBecky project! Their acting has gotten so much better since Gap days 😂❤ and I am sure whatever project they do next will be another hit.
@ellesheridans That's not the issue. The issue is writers. The whole first book is just about affection Anin has for Pin. It's the letters and pining after Pin. And the whole second book Anin is trying to protect Pin and be ahead everyone else. Basically, I don't get how the writers even get that idea... it was stupid. But as I said I have mixed feelings about it. On one hand it is the most beautifully shot GL we have so far. I loved seeing the Thai traditions and I would say it is as close to a lesbian fairytale we will get 😂 I guess the main mistake I did was reading the novel before seekng the show. 😂 It made my expectations way too high and now I sound like those morons who are not satisfied with their favouritebook being made into a movie. 😂 I am sorry I don'tmean to be a downer. And I wouldn't have said anything and kept it to myself. But this last episode was the final blow. Just because FreenBecky can save anything just by their amazing chemistry and great acting doesn't mean we shouldn't call out writers, directors or producers.
@dannyholy8 first of all this is a safe space so your perspective is valid as much as the others 🫶🏻 you actually have a point on the last episode’s decision to make Pin believe she was kidnapped, it could have been avoided and Anin definitely would have never allowed something like that, but I also think it wasn’t that bad considering they had to do it to make us feel all the emotions, I don’t know as you said mixed feelings. It’s absolutely okay to prefer a novel and to us this was a wonderful adaptation but can be seen as lacking too! FB’s acting is way way better than Gap, that we agree 💯 cannot wait for Cranium 💀❤️
Meanwhile I glimpst watched in one Day: GAP and TLP😅 it is not so my cup of tea storywise and acting wise, but thats fine🙏🏽not everything is for everyone like Blank. I support GL in general and Im maybe little more interessted in different representations of the community like in 23.5, blank, unlock your love, Pluto...maybe US. Not so interessted only just hot by hot GL scene like FrenBecky without talking emotionalwise all the things out, clear or the charakter development is not really clearly seen) and its suits not so my experience on the LGBIQIA+ cultur). I cant connect to them sorry. But maybe because I whatched first The Blank, 23.5, and then Pluto...so this storys are more different and more relatet to my experiences or circles than Royal Drama things. It never catching my heart somehow. But TLP i guess I have to give ofc more time for sure.🫶🏽🙏🏽 BUT Im looking forward to their new stuff coming and Film Uranus, I didnt watched as well yet 😢 Or maybe in the new 4thelement Series with 4 different GL couples😉😉😅😍

Me encantaron los dos finales tanto esta adaptacion como el libro son completamente diferentes, en el libro en cuanto Anin vuelve despues de ver como esta Pin y pasar la noche con ella cuidandola lo primero que hace es hablar con su Padre para pedir permiso (ella ya habia armado un plan desde antes de irse a Hua hin con su hermano en el libro ella no se encarga de convencer a la chica embarazada ni de seguir a Kuea eso lo hace Prik ayudada por el hermano Anin no se mete en eso solo manda a Prik y espera que la chica embarazada impida la boda pero si no es asi tiene plan de respaldo con su hermano que si la chica no aparece es el quien va a exponer a Kuea delante de todos aunque eso pueda traerle consecuencias a las familias) Anin va a hablar con su Padre decidida pero muy nerviosa y con algo de miedo de que su padre no la entienda y las cosas no salgan como ella lo planeo (ya que en el libro siempre dejan claro que Anin es muy inteligente y estratega como una jugadora de ajedrez armando su estrategia perfecta para conseguir lo que quiere) El padre nunca se enoja con Anin solo se hace el ofendido diciendole que era el ultimo en enterarse y Anin lo molesta diciendole que todavia falta su segundo hermano por saberlo los dos hablan profundamente y el padre reconoce que nunca vio el brillo en los ojos de Anin como cuando ella le habla de lo que siente por Pin y le asegura que ella nunca se va a interesar por nadie mas porque esta enamorada de Pin desde los 14 años y ese sentimiento solo ha ido creciendo y fortaleciendose el padre le pregunta porque no fue a hablar con el inmediatamente cuando hicieron que Pin se comprometa con Kuea y ella le dice que fue para demostrar que su amor no era algo para tomar a la ligera que era profundo y meditado y que sabia que Kuea iba a caer por sus propias acciones entonces se une su hermano a la charla y le dice que el ayudo a su hermana porque no quiere que pase lo mismo que el de no poder estar con la persona que ama y ahi le dice que sabe que nunca penso en casar a su hija primero porque no encontraba a ningun hombre lo suficientemente bueno para ella y segundo porque no queria que su hija se vaya de su lado y entonces el padre dice que es verdad que cada vez que intenta imaginar a su hija con algun hombre ninguno le parece bueno y siempre le resulta incorrecto pero cuando la imagina con lady Pin parece que todo encaja no ve nada incorrecto entonces le dice a su hija que haga las cosas como ella crea mejor que tiene su aprovacion y apoyo despues de eso recien ahi Anin habla con la tia Patt se piden disculpas mutuamente y Anin le pide permiso a la tia para que Pin se mude definitivamente con ella la tia al principio muestra un poquito de resistencia diciendole que si su padre se entera seguro se enoje y Anin le dice que su padre ya sabe todo y le dio su aprovacion y consentimiento para que las cosas se hagan como ella quiera entonces la tia Patt ya no puede oponerse (no existe el falso secuestro ni la sorpresa entonces la princesa Patt entiende que los regalos que le da la princesa Alissa son como una dote porque sabia que cuando Anin hablara con su padre lo siguiente hiba ser pedir que Pin se mude con ella) despues te cuentan como entre las dos van decorando todo el palacio del Pino con las cosas de Pin especialmente el dormitorio y hay muchos detalles de los 5 años despues (lo mas lindo es que cuentan la interaccion de ellas dos con su sobrina Alin que en el libro cuentan que ella ama a sus tias Pin y Anin mas que a nadie incluso prefiere pasar tiempo con ellas que con sus propios padres cuentan que a lo unico que Alin tiene miedo es que su tia favorita Pin deje de amarla porque se entero que no es de su misma sangre pero Pin la ama porque le recuerda a Anin cuando era chica y tanto Anin como Pin aman a Alin como si fuera su propia hija)

I don't like how they traumatized Pin for a "surprise", but I do appreciate the Father's point of view. As a man, especially one that cherish his only daughter, he will never be satisfied seeing her with another man, but a woman isn't a problem. It actually makes a lot of sense. Men understand other men and don't want any of them for their girls. Lol.

So Princess Patt was in a cage just like PIn. Honestly, I think when Pin decided to stand up for Anin and talk to her dad, and Patt agreed to follow her decision and stand by here (even though it was WAY AGAINST PROTOCOL) no matter what, it really broke both of them from their cages. It's why Patt was so apprehensive with Alisa. She's towed the same line (and been in the same cage) that she taught Pin for pretty much all her life, except for basically the fleeting 15min of being with Princess Im. I see Princess Patt as a tragic character. Sasa has been through so much. Sasa is his own character, and has seen so much. I give Sasa 10 chillies. So Freen and Becky really told the rest of the GL couples to hold their beer in that last love scene. Anin and Pin are basically married...just not government official. Pia's actually not in the book, but Prik does have an epilogue story.

I have such mixed feelings about this show. Now, I don't mean this as hate towards FreenBecky they were awesome. Please be kind.
The acting was amazing (ofc it's FreenBecky), the way it was shot was amazing, but I find the script kind of lacking.
And the last episode just sealed it for me. Anin in the novel would never agree to deceive Pin this way. After all Pin went through, this was just so cruel to do. And Anin always was and is the biggest Pin protector. This just didn't make any sense. The show wasn't really my cup of tea, even though I loved the novel. I don't know... something just got lost in the process of remaking it into a show.
I am so very happy FreenBecky were the ones who played this story out. I really couldn't imagine anyone else acting out the lovestory of Anin and Pin.

I guess this just didn't hit right for me. I am so excited for the next FreenBecky project! Their acting has gotten so much better since Gap days 😂❤ and I am sure whatever project they do next will be another hit.
from what I have heard - it wasn’t Anin’s idea, it was her dad’s - and she meant to warn Pin about it, she just didn’t manage to reach her in time

That's not the issue. The issue is writers. The whole first book is just about affection Anin has for Pin. It's the letters and pining after Pin. And the whole second book Anin is trying to protect Pin and be ahead everyone else. Basically, I don't get how the writers even get that idea... it was stupid. But as I said I have mixed feelings about it. On one hand it is the most beautifully shot GL we have so far. I loved seeing the Thai traditions and I would say it is as close to a lesbian fairytale we will get 😂 I guess the main mistake I did was reading the novel before seekng the show. 😂 It made my expectations way too high and now I sound like those morons who are not satisfied with their favouritebook being made into a movie. 😂 I am sorry I don'tmean to be a downer. And I wouldn't have said anything and kept it to myself. But this last episode was the final blow. Just because FreenBecky can save anything just by their amazing chemistry and great acting doesn't mean we shouldn't call out writers, directors or producers.

@dannyholy8 first of all this is a safe space so your perspective is valid as much as the others 🫶🏻 you actually have a point on the last episode’s decision to make Pin believe she was kidnapped, it could have been avoided and Anin definitely would have never allowed something like that, but I also think it wasn’t that bad considering they had to do it to make us feel all the emotions, I don’t know as you said mixed feelings. It’s absolutely okay to prefer a novel and to us this was a wonderful adaptation but can be seen as lacking too! FB’s acting is way way better than Gap, that we agree 💯 cannot wait for Cranium 💀❤️

Meanwhile I glimpst watched in one Day: GAP and TLP😅 it is not so my cup of tea storywise and acting wise, but thats fine🙏🏽not everything is for everyone like Blank. I support GL in general and Im maybe little more interessted in different representations of the community like in 23.5, blank, unlock your love, Pluto...maybe US. Not so interessted only just hot by hot GL scene like FrenBecky without talking emotionalwise all the things out, clear or the charakter development is not really clearly seen) and its suits not so my experience on the LGBIQIA+ cultur). I cant connect to them sorry. But maybe because I whatched first The Blank, 23.5, and then Pluto...so this storys are more different and more relatet to my experiences or circles than Royal Drama things. It never catching my heart somehow.
But TLP i guess I have to give ofc more time for sure.🫶🏽🙏🏽
