Welcome to Belmar, NJ one of the premiere "beach towns" at the Jersey Shore. Big, beautiful, beaches. A wide and long boardwalk for walking, biking, taking in the beautiful beach and ocean. A vibrant downtown area, full of shops, boutiques, bars, and great restaurants! Add in a whole fleet of charter fishing boats along the Shark River and you have one great beach destination. Belmar is a year round town, but it goes to a whole other level in the summertime. Whether you go by car, or train, check it out. We think you will enjoy it.

I'm beginning to appreciate Belmar more now as I'm in my mid 30's. I go there often now, just to drive around and hang out, grab a bite to eat. In my early 20's, I spent a wild night there partying, haha...fun times.
Looks nice in the winter too.

That’s my home. Grew up very nearby, even sharing the Belmar zip code. Only a few stores remain that I remember from back when. We used to bank there, shop there, and go to church at St. Rose there. The oceanfront sure has changed over the decades, too. Took a whale watching cruise out of the marina a few summers ago, the last time I came back for a visit. Very nice. Highly recommend it.
The beaches are 10 times better in Florida and they are free.
