    I like solos like these where it is more melody focused rather than just trying to be the fastest fingers there ever was to show they're "good" at guitar

    Amazing ! Its like hearing 2 lines of an equal frequency, playing through a same path but one line is a straight line and another one wraps around it. Harmony..

    I think your student just taught me something!
    I have this issue with playing one note more than once, for whatever reason. So when I see (and hear) someone else hit those double-stops, triple-stops... it inspires me. It's like a voice that says, "Hey, dude - it's cool. Play that note again, maybe even play it three times." And then those dyads! Some seriously tasty stuff. Cheers! -p

    Mr. Fujita do you have any opinions on fret size apart from it being subjective? If you could only have one single guitar would you go for small or jumbo?

    • @TomoFujitaMusic
      @TomoFujitaMusic  3 года назад +1

      I love all kind of frets. One of my vintage ES335 has Jumbo frets. But that guitar sounds so great! I love skinny frets on vintage Fender. Only one choice then small (skinny) Great intonation! Great rhythm! Attack is so fast!

    What techniques is the student using to get that sound? Just arpeggios over the chords?

    • @TomoFujitaMusic
      @TomoFujitaMusic  3 года назад +1

      He is mixed everything musically so you can not defined just using this or that! That was the process in practicing using specific items. This is performance so he prepared and practiced these. (Scales, arpeggios and chords = Music Theory & Ear Training with the sounds) Not explanation and diagrams! I don't use any diagrams.
