I like solos like these where it is more melody focused rather than just trying to be the fastest fingers there ever was to show they're "good" at guitar
TOMO! You and your friend sound so beautiful together! I am dancing around my living room and having so much fun just knowing that it’s you! Outstanding!🎸
Amazing ! Its like hearing 2 lines of an equal frequency, playing through a same path but one line is a straight line and another one wraps around it. Harmony..
I think your student just taught me something! I have this issue with playing one note more than once, for whatever reason. So when I see (and hear) someone else hit those double-stops, triple-stops... it inspires me. It's like a voice that says, "Hey, dude - it's cool. Play that note again, maybe even play it three times." And then those dyads! Some seriously tasty stuff. Cheers! -p
Amazing little jam tomo!!! Your student has got the stuff!!!!. There truly won't be another like you. Thank you for sharing your gift with us and all your students!!!
Playing with others is the best and fastest way to learn IME. I could tell he will be good with more experience. Improvised solos aren't as easy as Tomo makes them look.
I love to repeat one idea for 2-3 times at least. When student play so many ideas.. I stop them and make them repeat same phrase in different ways. Thank you!
Very melodic! Mr. Fujita do you have any opinions on fret size apart from it being subjective? If you could only have one single guitar would you go for small or jumbo?
I love all kind of frets. One of my vintage ES335 has Jumbo frets. But that guitar sounds so great! I love skinny frets on vintage Fender. Only one choice then small (skinny) Great intonation! Great rhythm! Attack is so fast!
He is mixed everything musically so you can not defined just using this or that! That was the process in practicing using specific items. This is performance so he prepared and practiced these. (Scales, arpeggios and chords = Music Theory & Ear Training with the sounds) Not explanation and diagrams! I don't use any diagrams.

It's all about melody & story! Not scales & theory!
Ed bickert
There's nothing wrong with fast guitar! Takes great skill agility and talent to be able to play like that. Don't denigrate!
Truly a student after your own heart. Love seeing these mini magical moments of music
Thank you! I am so lucky!
Music is amazing! We need to share more!
Tomo smiling with his EYES. ABSOLUTE BLISS!

This song might be the happiest sad jazz standard to play 🤭. Great chord progressions and great melody!!!

sick jam🤘
Thanks!
Great tone on that ES335 (?)...😎👍
Yes!
I think it’s a 333. No different except for trim, and a BB King back to facilitate mods.
Great job young fella! I am sitting here swaying back and forth! LOL
Thank you!
Tomo what do you think of repetition of licks when you solo? Another great student indeed and masterful Tomo enjoying the moment

The solo is cool and there are some interesting line. But this is also a comping demonstration, like the soloist isn't the only one listening
Thank you!
One day I can do that too. Or not - who knows...
Yes! Anyone can do this!
Didn't notice my heads jamming on this jam man hahaha nice job guys

Tomo will you be playing at the pigeons playing ping pong show in Denver? Will definitely be buying tickets if you are!!!
Thanks for asking me. I want to join their West Coast Tour 2022!
What techniques is the student using to get that sound? Just arpeggios over the chords?
He is mixed everything musically so you can not defined just using this or that! That was the process in practicing using specific items. This is performance so he prepared and practiced these.
