@@bigbooler8926 None whatsoever. No issues with the screens fans, keyboard. Some the colour around ports or maybe certain keys have gone a bit of, but that's just natural wear and tear.
may i ask, do you use it for gaming as well? if so then what about the thermal, is it good or bad? thankyou🙏🏻

Using it 5 to 8 hours per day for uni and games… amazing
absolutely for uni because it’s very handy and can be used to do complex tasks like technical researching and matlab but also can be used as a tablet with a lenovo pen to write directly on the screen or flip it without a keyboard. I use it for my engineering bachelor classes and games also

Was really worried about the longevity of the hinges based on reviews of Yoga laptops - hence went for the ThinkPad (P14s) with R7 7840u

These laptops are nice, but I wish companies still made thick, functional laptops with an optical drive and real I.O. again, these are amazing, but I wish there were other options.

This vs the asus zenbook 14 oled 2023 which one would be better in terms of display, reliability and battery life?
ASUS Zenbook 14 is an excellent laptop marred by the single fan cooling. Noisy and hot compared to the dual fans on the Yoga Slim 7.
@@Dovecomputers I’m looking for a laptop that’ll last me 4 years in college (computer science with cyber security) I was thinking about the m2 air but it offers too less for what it costs (8gb ram with 256gigs of ssd) whereas on the zenbook I get 16gigs of ram with 512gb ssd, so would you suggest the zenbook or the yoga
@not_noah69 Yoga Slim 7 is my daily driver and I'm a power user. I'm very happy with it, so much so I purchased its sister the Yoga Pro 7. See my review out today! 😁

Lenovo have different naming for the same model in different regions, to confuse everyone. This one was UK purchased back in 1st Sept 2023. This model is a rare one as it took a month and a half to deliver, then went out of stock again for months.

Not the best! Chassis extemely slim and when doing anything moderate to intensive workloads, you may hear fan noise.

Refers to that version for the year. For example, Gen 8 2023 models, Gen 9 2024 models, depends on the manufacturer and their range.

i have a Lenvovo 300W Yoga Gen 4
It has no Touch ID
Do you have any idea if it'll release in India ? 2023 is over it didn't come out yet the pro7 with Intel released but not this one though when I asked Lenovo PC's yt channel they said it will release in India in the quick review video
The AMD Ryzen 7 7840S processor is in short supply, in the UK it is out of stock again with a 6+ weeks lead time. My laptop took one and a half months for delivery, when I ordered it in November 2023.
