LOVE YOUR NAILS MISS GAL, couldn’t stop staring at them! Also u cringed at exactly the same parts as I cringed at, sooo relatable. But it got me out of my book slump so not complaining. I just don’t know why it had to happen right before my a levels. Probably cuz I have been dealing with so many health issues..got this spinal condition, I’m basically in agonising pain all the time. Was even bed ridden for 2 months. Got all A*s in o levels and ab in a levels everything went down the drain. So reading helps distract myself from the pains and my life basically lol. And yes, you are just forced to give it 5 starts eventually. ❤

Ive been in a book slump for longer than I can imagine because first I read fourth wing and I was craving something AS GOOD AS IT AGAIN AND I did not want to pick up anything else after finishing it, and it Love Hypothetically came out and I READ THAT AND NOW IM IN A DOUBLE BOOK SLUMP BCZ both of those were INIFINITY STAR READS FOR YOU, watching your reaction to the inheritance games, I really hope I can pick something up and get back into reading!!

Ryle was the best character honey he was just possessive & all he needed was love and attention
did u miss the whole point of the book😭😭😭 u cannot justify abuse like that. he was an abusive man. no excuse for that. this is so problematic 😭😭
People have a lot of mixed opinions on it ends with us. Some being pretty brutal and some suggesting that Colleen is romanticizing abuse and violence which is certainly not true. The idea of romance is depicted by atlas's and lily's story. Otherwise I personally think she did an incredible job with this book. She basically wrote is so well that most readers are targeting lily to be the red flag. That's what happens in the real world too, people end up targeting the female and expect her to fix the man. Like the majority readers stated "Ryle deserved better" or "Lily is the red flag". It ends with us totally achieved its purpose.
it ends with us itself definitely doesnt romanticise abuse but all her other books do. ryle was purposely written like that but in all of her other books the men are basically ryle and are PRAISED by her. i think it ends with us is her best book. all the others are bad.

To answer your question about Lilly writing to Ellen, I read a lot of comments saying that since Colleen Hoover gets a lot of hate for not showing gay relationships in her books, people call her homophobic etc. Everyone assumes that she chose Ellen to kill that narrative about herself. I don't know if it's true but that's what people seem to believe because there's literally no reason to why on Earth does she write to Ellen 🤣🤣
From avarage maximum one hour to now I am using my phone like 10 10 hours oh my god It feels I am cheating on my past personality

i just completed reading it yesterday and i enjoyed it i dreaded reading collen because she is too hyped i always end up hating the authors that are too hyped the first coollen book i read was verity that too beacuse you said it was good and now the second book i read s this it wasnt bad i liked both but i have to say that her writting style is more appealing to teenagers than adults....

It feels soo nice to see someone who's obsessed with books as much as i am. Also if you're looking for thrillers, i recommend the housemaid series, kept me on edge if my seat the whole time and book lovers by emily henry is just(chef's kiss)

I have different opinions about this book though, i liked those letters she wrote to ellen because atlas was in it, and it was pure healthy sweet love between them, on the other hand ryle was hella toxic and so was lily, she had some issues too and i got frustrated at her too, the unnecessary smut even when they are fighting doesnt makes sense, i cant see that person face whom i fought with this much toxicity let alone be doing stuff with them afterwards like lily did cause she was just physically attracted.. this book seemed kinda stupid and boring at some point, there was not much going on no story just marshal alysa their meetups lily being depressed and getting hurt again and again. Well even after she got divorced she was getting afraid of ryle finding out about her date with atlas like wtf? And also she was taking atlas for granted too when she was thinking about ryle and then her daughter and then she thought things are possible with atlas but what about ryle finding it out how will he gonna react and etc.. she is basically treating atlas as an option, and pl they all not acting like an adult but mindless teenagers……( so basically i will rate that book not more than just 2 stars, and thats because of the first few chapters of the story)
