Pedro Mestre sobe ao palco para apresentar o seu mais recente trabalho discográfico MERCADO DOS AMORES, que assinala 25 anos do seu percurso musical a “Cantar o Alentejo e Outros Cantes do Sul à Viola Campaniça”.
Através deste trabalho, recria uma realidade na vida do cante alentejano e da viola Campaniça, que tiveram como palco as feiras e mercados da região Alentejo.
Conduzidos pela voz de Pedro Mestre, acompanhada pela Viola Campaniça, seguimos num percurso de ida e volta a um romantismo bucólico, acompanhado por sonoridades que muito se enleiam nos registos de expressões amorosas que o tempo levou, mas que ficam na memória.
Pedro Mestre faz uso do saber aprendido, nas rodas dos cantos de improviso e nos grupos corais, onde buscou a inspiração, destilou e fez obra nova. Neste espetáculo, irá presentear o público com temas inéditos e temas do cancioneiro tradicional alentejano, contando com a participação de vários convidados.

Pedro Mestre takes the stage to present his latest CD MERCADO DOS AMORES, which marks 25 years of his musical journey to "Sing the Alentejo and Others Cantes of the south of Portugal with Viola Campaniça”.
Through this work, it recreates a reality in the life of cante alentejano and viola Campaniça, which had as stage the fairs and markets of the Alentejo region.
Led by the voice of Pedro Mestre, accompanied by the Viola Campaniça, we continue on a round trip to a bucolic romanticism, accompanied by sonorities that are very entranced in the registers of amorous expressions that time has taken, but that remain in the memory.
Pedro Mestre makes use of the learned knowledge, in the wheels of improvised songs and in traditional coral groups, where he sought inspiration, distilled and made new work. In this show, he will present the audience with unpublished themes and themes of traditional Alentejo songbook, with the participation of several guests.
