I just got my kits last week and am having a blast trying to figure this all out. I have to say the indirect percussion is giving me fits, just haven't got the hang of it yet. Thank you for doing all these videos, they mean more to us than you will ever know.
Outstanding videos

As usual very cool video, Ryan
Good afternoon from Syracuse NY brother

Thank you for the tutorial. :-)
Cool video
👍
hey Ryan! i love your indirect percussion stick and would like to make my own however i just have steel nails on hand, do you think those could work or would they be too hard on the stone? also what is your personal favorite knapping stone. thanks for this quick video and i can't wait to buy tools from your website
Ryan i have a question. Are spurless atlatls or atlatl with socket good as atlatl with spur? And would you show us some of them? I barely can find anything about them
Funny I was just wondering if a AI robot could make an arrow head. I think it would be very difficult because, although it appears a simple task, there's a ton going on under the hood with regard to what the brain and hands must do.
I bet that will either never happen or it will be really far in the future, Not really enough money in the industry to warrant that coding/software to work abstract stone. they'll likely do it in "video" but real life it a long way off
@@huntprimitive9918 Yes, I doubt it could be done. Your videos are excellent, btw. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and skill.
Nice one man..
Nice, quick explanation. I saw on your website you are only doing nodules of hornstone. Is there a reason for that? I'm an intermediate flintknapper and want a couple pounds of some tough stone.
Can't keep up on all the rock overall. There's a lot of work that goes into spalling it out and just not enough hours in the day. That's one of the rock types folks can actually save money by working themselves into the size pieces they prefer. If I spalled it all out it would cost folks probably $8-9 per pound.
That makes sense👍Just a thought, maybe if you did 5 pound boxes of the hornstone people like myself could get it as someone might not want 10+ pounds of hornstone. Thanks for replying btw.
Hey I'm ordering your kit and I was wondering if you hade a coupon code?
Where can I purchase Coral flint and River Cane?
