One afternoon my grandma was sitting at the computer eating wheat thins and next to them was these dog treat.. Thin but round. I was at the piano and noticed she picked up a dog treat by mistake... As she took a bite I tried to warn her but I couldn't stop laughing.. She finished it and took another one. I began to play da da da dum like really banging the keys idk why and I couldn't stop laughing. I did eventually get up and set crackers by her, I grabbed the bag of dog treats put it on thr piano and sang/read the ingredients as I played ... she paid no attention to me lol
Our 14 year old lab mix passed away in June and our current dog was abused and neglected. He has no idea what he likes so we have had to try lots of new things! Jack,our 4 year old yellow lab,is very into anything that tastes like fish. I was on the isle at the grocery store sniffing dog food in order to find the one he would like. Just be grateful,Penn. He likes salmon.
petsmart used to have share ables they were twizzles save for animals on the back of the box it showed how many pieces each type of animals could have and of course humans could eat whole box if they wanted to
Hahaha! It’s DOG FOOD! Happy for Sunny though. I have never personally tried my cat’s food-nor will I ever-but I sometimes get close to the bowl and sniff it, then pretend that it smells and looks delicious if she ever hesitates to eat it.

Just the smell I would have been actually vomiting. 🤮 My husband has to do all the dirty work with the yard from our dogs. The older I get the worse it is getting. 🤢 Love you guys..
After the great depression it was made into a law that all canned food must be fit for human consumption. Even dog food. Another reason is that for many elderly they could only afford dog/cat food.
Fun fact, dogs have a sweet tooth much like people. So thier food and treats tend to be on the sweeter side. Dogs, like wolves, are omnivores, so grain free isn't necessary, and can even be unhealthy. Whereas cats prefer thier foods and treats coppery and warm like a fresh kill. Cats are considered more of a carnavor then dogs.
Haha, when we were kids we got into trouble for eating the dog's treats at my cousin's house... They were little pigs in a blanket basically, but my Uncle was like, "Dang it! These were really expensive! AND FOR DOGS!". Anyway, Can relate, though he must have gotten better tasting treats...
I miss ruby she was a great and sweet loving dog. On the other hand sunny is good to and a good dog. I also know how it feels to lose a dog. But if you do get a new dog it’s gonna feel like nothing change.

Years ago, I tried a milk bone- it tasted like a cookie that someone forgot to sweeten. It wasn't bad and no after taste as I recall.... I've also tried various other treats throughout my life. Most of them have after tastes that make even the ones with initially good taste not worth trying, unless you're a dog, of course! Lol! 🤣😂🙂
I can't believe y'all ate that stuff - I doubt the FDA or the Health dept even comes & checks the dog food mills - much less would care how many bug parts per bag - EEEWW!!! HAVE you EVER toured any place that makes dog food?? I have! I wouldn't try it!

Thus, it's not inherently toxic for humans and may be safe in an emergency situation. However, eating dog food may increase your risk of developing foodborne illness
