This tv movie was the stamp on my head Maureen Stapleton is the best actress there ever ws I was 11 years old the youngest of 7 .. last one living at home .. with a recently separated mom & dad .. she was always sad and crying .. we would sit in the car across the street were he was boarding so she kept track of his coming and goings .. every night . after we'd sit in a booth in K-mart's cafeteria til they closed .. watching this with my mother gave me so much joy as i could see a little twinkle come back in her eyes . maybe thinking she was Bie .. In 1993 i lived in Boston, Mass knowing Maureen lived only an hour away. So I sent her a fan letter .. and she didn't write back ..SHE called me on a Saturday night late to thank me .. wasn't the only time i heard from her she'd call quit offton
