A great return to the clever level-building that we've come to expect of the 2D levels, but finally translated to 3D. I greatly enjoy these more than the simple 'race' levels, and I hope you focus more on them in the future.

The 3d marble race has no effect on the 2d one whatsoever. It would be impossible to do that because the 2d one has to be made first so that the marbles can be made to appear in the 3d one at the right time.
Try recording a video of something on a screen and moving the camera back. That's what's going on at 0:44. If you're talking about the marbles going from 2d to 3d that's just making the 2d one first and then timing it so they appear in the 3d one when they leave the 2d one. The winning marbles and GAME OVER text appearing on the 2d one is just video editing. The sides of the GAME OVER text are vertical but if it was actually on the screen it would be slightly slanted due to the angle.

I prefer this kind of video to your more recent 3D races. Simpler to follow, but more entertaining, with a global vision of all marbles.

Let me explain, the 2d marbles that go into the pipe go into the 3d world and controls the game, however the red in the game respawns marbles.
