I would have thought i was inside of me listening with a stethesscope...of my heart and soul.. its what its screaming to my strugle i am fighting with addiction....and my plead to myself to never bring me back again... the scream tones are just at the perfect time and words... tbey peirce through my soul and brought mr to my knees.. thank you for sharing this peice with the world.
Maria Brink has my total respect. She's an amazing talent, singer song writer and she sings what she feels she has the gutts to do what she feels. There's nothing wrong with evolving. And she's been doing it record after record. Much love to you Maria!

Their new stuff is shit. The fact that they've moved so far from this genre is proof that none of this was ever genuine. Shame, as this is still a quality record.
So glad I got to see them back in 2007 around this release, such a great album and show. Maria even did a song with Walls of Jericho at that show. I have to admit that this time was more my speed and style than their later stuff, but I am incredibly happy to see their current success. They definitely worked hard to get there and deserve every bit of it.

Screamo bands aren't even heavy to begin with but old In This Moment is. Their newer songs really have nothing new to offer. They basically took what they've done before and watered it down to make it appeal more to a mainstream audience which they have done. For me, it does nothing for me and they've gone downhill musically in my opinion.

Connor MacKinney Lots of practice and pain, lemme tell you. It takes quite a bit of practice to perfect a scream. My two other band mates both took a few years to perfect their's, but the one sounds just like Randy Blithe, and the other actually sounds like a masculine Maria Brink.
