Chugga: "This is one of those weird games where one player is just given an advantage even though it's a 4 play and not a 1 v 3." *Playing a 1v3 game* Chugga: *Does that a second time in the same video.*
What's interesting is that there are 4 possible time slots 4 Swords TRG Amazing Mirror TRG Colosseum 1 Colosseum 2 It is possible yes it was a random visit, but I sort of doubt that. I'm putting more money on Amazing Mirror since this wasn't Stephen's typical setup.
It really is remarkably bad luck that Jon would land on two Star Spaces, roll a 9 and an 8 respectively, and lose to a 10 BOTH TIMES, ON THE SAME TURN. That's very fascinating.
6:35 Kamek's library (is that what it's called?) in DS has that gimmick! 3 pots on the board, 10 coins to open one. One sends you back to start, one has coins in it (I think it's 5?), and one has a star. When someone gets a star the pots reshuffle.
Emile saying "Your money will be so good!" is such a minor vlog reference that Stephen probably doesn't remember. Also, wow I think this is the first time I've seen anyone lose the dice roll against Baby Bowser.
Guess Stephen is continuing (or depending on when this was recorded, starting) his attempted murder spree of TRG Colosseum Members with trying to kill Mal and Jon with Laughter (THIS IS AN AD!!!) and JoshJepson with the walk vlog with a cursed amulet and crocodiles.
@@Rexaura888 oh, i was pretty sure, I just didnt want to deal with the "Um actually, it was recorded at (insert exact date and time) you ignoramus" guy
Kyanite I mean...I should hope there’s no one in the comments who can claim that and provide supporting evidence beyond what’s already known and been said. Otherwise Emile may want to look into any potential stalkers around his area...
Wow, this board seems to hate Stephen even more than Jon! While Jon's had some bad luck, Stephen was the only one without a star and the game decided the others should all steal coins from him, and then after crawling his way to being just before a star, he gets taken back to start XD
Poor Jon, fresh off of Mario Party 7 screwing him over multiple times, now he has Mario Party 1 deciding to torture him. It looks like the curse of odd numbered Mario Parties rings true.
So when it comes to dice rolls 1/2 Chance that Jon rolls enough to get 2 Koopa Kids with enough coins to try twice 2/3 that Jon rolls a 9 not getting a guaranteed star 1/9 Chance that Koopa Kid rolls a 10 2/3 that Jon didn’t get a guaranteed star 2/9 odds that Koopa Kid outrolls Jon again Welcome to Mario Party Jon
So far, we've seen on this board: 1. Jon getting SUPREMELY screwed by luck(still winning at the end of this board) 2. Tim calling rolls 3. Grandpa's Bloody hand story. Next vid, I'd reckon we'll see Emile's RIDICULOUS luck kick in. SERIOUSLY, does he down a vial of Liquid Luck before a session of these games?!?!
Seems like the only boards worth playing on in this entry are the Donkey Kong and Yoshi boards. Everything else is frustrating, death-sentence-punishing, or both. DK > Yoshi > Mario > Luigi > Peach > Wario > Bowser ?= Star for boards, IMO. The Mario board is punishing, but while it follows a straight shot, it does have shortcuts and some counterplay. I see why Luigi's board can be irritating because paths shift every turn, but it still seems more active than the boards where the star stands still. Peach's Piranha Plant gimmick seems expensive, and being forced to see Bowser is frustrating. Wario... seems hard to plan around with the cannons feeling so random. Bowser's board is arguably the harshest not just because of Bowser potentially stealing stars but because of his tendency to make it so "EVERYTHING'S IN RED"! Just seems like a drain. And then Eternal Star... undecided on whether this is worse than Magma Mountain or better. Eternal Star has a lot of exploration to it, but gambling your stars to get more stars is pretty evil, and maybe more likely to happen than Magma Mountain Bowser taking a star (or not?). If only this could've been like a Duel minigame with the cohorts instead, maybe it would be more fair? I dunno. On second thought, I forgot how Star Spaces turn into Chance Time. Yeah, Eternal Star is the worst board here. 14:26 = TIM! Please turn off your Tech Psychic powers for one roll, for Jon's sake! So yeah, don't need Mario Party 1 for my paltry N64 collection. 2, yes, I may hunt it in the future. 3 I have already.
Is this Mario Party board staying uncensored or have a couple of instances been missed? Swearing doesn't bother me, but not sure if Stephen wanted to keep it consistent with the rest of the series.
SL-1 I believe this was the first board recorded. I don’t think they knew at the time if this series would be censored or not. This was probably edited last year, which would explain why the profanity was not bleeped.
Now I can't decipher what SL-1 is supposed to mean Peach's Birthday Cake was uncensored while the very next board Yoshi's Tropical Island was censored. It's a funny back and forth.
No wonder you guys hate Cast Aways You're all aiming for the back row which is the most time consuming, hardest to time, and has the least stuff in it. Emile figures it out at least half way through And yes, I have the game and N64 controllers, so unless Stephen's controllers are hyper sensitive, this shouldn't be an excuse.
I despise the pedal power mini game with every fiber of my being cuz 16 years ago I was trying to beat it on mini game island and I never did complete it and due to the hard plastic stick of the n64 controller the palm of my hand got freaking lacerated!!
>Start of the video
>Jon rolls a 10
>"Where did this luck came from?"
>Jon got a 9 and a 8 and loses to both 10s
>"There is it. Classic Jon luck."
I'm neutral toward Cast Aways, but I'm really good at it. The Mario Party game we played at TRG Colo vindicates that.
5:07 Memorable moment Tim calling the exact rolls
except he didn't he said 8 which came up but then he said 9 and koopa kid or whatever they call him in this got a 10

Not to mention it has two different areas that you can only travel between with a Happening Space... which is fun.
@@Cloudeefella Eh, I find it too cramped for my liking. And it suck when all three jars are on the upper level.
24:22 is probably the perfect example of Chuggaa and Jon in Mario Party
Of course the first game in this video was Cast Away, Jon's most hated mini-game. XD
4:27 - 6:12 -- Memorable Moment: Jon has Mario Party PTSD.
Okay, this makes up for the stupidly good luck Stephen had while playing with his parents.
Elenna123 Other way around considering when this was recorded.
