This tiller looks fantastic! I've always wanted a smaller tiller i can handle and not have to wait for the men to do it, which hampers my gardening. I have been gardening for 40 + years and just started using the newer battery operated power tools and love them as I get older. This tool would be a blessing!

Sandy Makin. I just seen your message and boy, now I know why you won this tiller!! I would of had to agree with you 100% on waiting around for a man to do the job!! I was in a pretty rough accident yrs ago and it's hard for me to do things myself, unfortunatrly I have to wait for my hubby, a man to come and help out which stinks! I have always been independent and love to be out in my garden constantly reconnecting with nature as do all these other plant lovers! .. Lol. Great comment! Hope you enjoy this blessing sent your way because That's exactly what it is. 😊

For years now my husband has been tiling our garden by hand with a traditional garden tool. I am extremely grateful and appreciate him cleaning our garden year after year because by the time I'm done, my hands are full of blisters. This one looks and sounds amazing and we would love it! Thank you for the detailed information about this wonderful garden tool. We always look forward to your videos.

This year we have decided battery power is the way to go for all out lawn equipment. From mowers to blowers and have even started changing out of work tools to all battery powered! It's so much easier! Love how you were so honest about battery life expectancy for a single charge. Can always count on you for your honesty!

Oh, yeah. I sure could use one of these. My gardening is limited due to being disabled. This would help improve and widen my garden. Hard to find people to help me with the back breaking stuff, like digging up the dirt.

This would be a wonderful gift for our son-in-law. He is always borrowing ours and keeping it during the time we really need it. Thank you Laura for all you have shown us just this year. I am saving the drip line for containers so we can set up plants and not have to water them all the time. Wonderful.

This tiller would be awesome to own! My husband and I used to own a gas powered Mantis because we had extensive vegetable and flower gardens. It was the best little tiller we owned because I am disabled and could operate it. He let someone from his job borrow it one fall and they were quite delinquent in returning it. Not too long after that, he was killed in an automobile accident and I never knew who he had loaned it too. It has been five years since his death and thanks to Laura, my love of gardening is renewed. I am moving from Central New York to Vermont to begin a new chapter in my life and it would be wonderful to start it with a new battery-powered Mantis tiller.

Since we purchased our first home 3 years ago I have worked so hard on our garden space. So much love, time and energy has gone into creating our raised bed haven. For the past 3 years, I have raked and dug up the dirt in the spring by hand. It is HARD work!! Haha!! I've been dreaming of a tiller like this, but with 2 children 3 and under it's not in the budget at the moment. What an amazing opportunity to win a great piece of machinery!

My late father always had one of the gas powered mantis' for his garden and gifted one to me when I got married and built a house. It was used extensively until it hit a rock in my New England soil and it is still in my garage waiting to be repaired. However, I always had a problem with pull cords and shoulder injuries have made it difficult to do so, so this battery powered baby would be perfect for me. Very excited it is available.

I found this channel in February, I was trying to educate myself on vegetable and flower gardening. Lets just say, you were a godsend . I would play your videos all day while planting my flower beds, and vegetable container garden. For that I thank you. I learn so much this year, so many triumphs and a few fails, but great experience. I just love gardening so much now. I've decided to build myself a "real" vegtable garden next year. I'm already preparing myself for the hard work ahead of me. I just can't wait to walk out my door and pick everything to make my family a wonderful and fresh meal.
This would be amazing to have.
Thank you for helping me "grow", Laura.

Laura and Aaron, I am relatively new to your show and am really enjoying it. I love that your zone 5 like me in Michigan, you offer a lot of ideas and inspiration. I enjoy your passion and enthusiasm and am learning a lot. Love the variety of how tos and especially the garden tours. Looking forward to more vegetable garden how tos. Love the simplicity of the tiller and that it is light weight so I could use it by myself, and no gas odors. Thank you and Mantis for offering it, whoever gets it will be thrilled 😁. My dad had a mantis tiller and used it regularly. He passed away when he was 97 and we found his tiller in his shed. I've been watching GardenAnswer videos on RUclips for a couple of years now and have learned soooo much. Now I'm in the midst of a landscaping project of redoing most of my front yard and redoing the old falling down rock retaining wall. I have clay soil that is hard as nails. This tiller would be a godsend to me as I'm 67 years old and while I can still do a lot of stuff, digging up that soil is really tough. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed. The only thing that would make this compact and easily manageable tiller better for me would be if it were purple!

During a winter snow storm many, many years ago, I ordered an electric Mantis Tiller from an infomercial. I ❤️’d it. I gave it away to a good home when I stopped gardening. Garden Answer (Laura) has got me interested in gardening again and I wish I had my tiller. I would ❤️ the battery operated tiller as I am mid-60’s and I think it would be great for me (and my neighbors) to use. Turning soil over, which has not been used in a while, by hand is not an easy task. 🤞

I've been "tilling" by hand since I started gardening. I use my shove to dig into the ground, then I whack of any grass or weeds and then turn it upside down. This tiller looks very easy to operate. Would work nice in my 6 raised beds. Love the fact that it is battery operated as the few tools I do have run on batteries minus the lawn mower. Thank you for your review. Have only heard of Mantis in the last month when I was looking up composters. Thanks for all you do, Laura. Have learned a lot from your videos. ❤️🍅👒🌷

Mantis is always the way to go. Glad they have gotten into the electric game. All my landscaping tools are electric. Would love to add this to the collection.

I've really been getting into gardening within the past year, and I am about to start building my mom and dads garden beds so they can grow their own crops. Never had a tiller before, but i would love to have one to make the work easier, and the crops happier. Love you're videos! xx

I would love to have this tiller, I have back problems and struggle to do my garden.
This would be a life saver. I love your video’s, I am addicted to them! They are entertaining and informative as this one was.

We passed up an opportunity of a tiller at a yard sale, and have been kicking ourselves ever since. We would LOVE this one! (We've just finished renovating a 1902 Victorian and it's time to start on the gardens.)

We plan to do a garden next spring with raised beds. The tiller would be wonderful to have to get the ground broken up where we plan to install the beds! We’ve had a gasoline tiller before and it was a nightmare! I love the idea of battery operated, less maintenance, lightweight and clean!

This mantis tiller would be the perfect tool for my raised bed vegetable garden and my flower beds of annuals. Love battery powered tools too for the reasons that you mention, Laura.

I seriously could use this. I can think of multiple applications for its use around my yard. Being a middle-aged single woman, I have no help in the yard, this could really help my back! :)

Love the strong points of less fumes; easier to crank w/ arthritis/back issues and/or physical challenges; and less noise. The options for storing/transporting fully extended or folded are great added advantages. The varying depths of tilling are great as well to meet the various needs as they might be due to what you are planting, soil types, and location as Laura pointed out. THANKS! (This is my only comment as I am not a FB user for various reasons, but worth giving it a try for the chance to win!)

Hello!! Thank you so so much for all of your videos!! I’ve always overlooked yards and noticed flowers but never really paid attention to the work that goes into it! I’m 24 and purchased my first home in October 2017 with a blank canvas in the front and backyard minus a few tree stumps.. when I started watching your videos I dedicated more time and effort to creating my whimsical home! Now it’s just a waiting game with project to project until my vision is complete! Thank you and your family for all that you do!!! 💚💚

My first Mantis was wonderful. It was so easy to start! When it died I got another one (refurbished this time) which has not performed as well, although it's supposed to be even easier to start. I would love to have one that I don't have to ask for help with. Even though my husband and I are both retired now, he is not always available when I am ready to work in my garden. I finally have a large area for my cut flower garden, so having an easy tiller to use would be wonderful!

I love this Tiller. This would be perfect for tilling the bare flattened soil around the sides of my new home. It would be a great back and timesaver in planting some colorful and beautiful plants. Thanks for reviewing it.

Great video. Mantis has always had a great name in tillers and I didn’t know they now had a battery operated unit. That’s great news. You looked comfortable tilling yogurt bed with it so it’s a great endorsement with visible proof. Will be looking into one of these.

My husband bought me a Mantis 5 years ago for my Birthday. It is perfection for keeping a vegetable garden weeded. It can get closer and between plants. It is great for working amendments into the soil. With mine I was also able to purchase attachments ;like an edger and a kick-stand. Mine is gas though. Need a battery powered one to take care of my mam's little vegetable vegetable and flower garden beds. I'm going to get the composter that you showed before next spring arrives. I have been wanting it for years. Thanks for demoing great products that we might like for ourselves.
