Memphis, Tulane, UTSA & USF will all join PAC12 for a bigger share and then they will have 12 teams, it will actually be decent conference. Mountain West will grab NMSU, Sacramento State, the Montana schools and possibly the Dakota schools (all FCS schools will get smaller share)….that will give them 12-14 and everyone will be happy
It's funny that since the SEC is the big dog, people forget how the alliance voted against Sankey when he was doing what was best for college football. Leaving the G5 and others to make less money. That the B1G played on both sides of the fence and came out on top. It just shows how simple-minded people can be. Now they want Sankey to look out for all of college football. That's not his job. Boise State has the 6th best career record in the sport, In the last 25 seasons they have won the 4th most games of any team in the league, they are tied 6th all time for number of undefeated seasons and tied 2nd for the number of undefeated seasons in the last 20 years, they have the 2nd best record ever recorded in NCAA history for any program for an 10 year span in the sport (00-10; only 1890-1900 Yale is greater), and they currently hold the all time ncaa record for consecutive winning seasons at 28. Yet theyve never been able to get into a power conference........ Seems like conferences dgaf about winning considering your P2 have programs like Vandy, Miss State, Kentucky, South Carolina, A&M, Rutgers, Indiana, Maryland, Minnesota, Northwestern, and UCLA.

It’s a chicken and the egg thing. Once a G5 team start winning some games against P5 opponents, the P5s get scared and stop scheduling them. Over the last decade, ECU is 3-0 vs UNC by a combined score of 166-90. And they will probably never play the pirates again. UNC can just claim superior if they don’t play a G5 school. Of course UNC is always overhyped and not a powerhouse, but it’s a 2 steps forward one step back for mid major schools. And all they simply want is a shot vs regional P5 opponents.
