Thank you guys, . . that was very helpful . . . Ours is different bed but the basics are the same . . So thanks again . . and your bed frame head looks awesome. .
Thanks for taking the time to video assembling the bed. Pity some of it was already chipped when you were doing the base walls. Looks like nothing is holding the 4 floor sections in place and all the white (MDF?) parts look pretty flimsy. I appreciate your video it's helped me to decide not to buy a bed like this because of the pushing down and I'd be wanting a couple of pieces of sturdy ply wood under the mattress to stop lint and dust getting into the storage compartment every time the sheets are changed and to have more than just narrow slats holding the bedding in place. I'd be wanting legs with wheels on the base too! 😅 Hope it's all to your satisfaction.
Hi, wondering whether that leftover bit would fit at the sides of the foot end of the bed so it can fold over to hold the mattress in place. I have a side lift on order from Harvey and am wondering how I'm going to stop the mattress from sliding off.
The rectangular bar is to go at the top of the bed frame to stop the mattress slipping forward when gas lift is up. There are holes for it at top of metal bed frame. 😅
Your wrong on the black corner holders because it has to be the other way because the slat frame comes down that little bit further but the way you have put it make the slat frame sit up just that little bit extra and when your laying down on it it can damage the gas arms
Good video! If you have a look at the links below, it will show you where to put the u shape bar. Bedframe (Double, Queen, King) with Gaslift Base ruclips.net/video/3KhDi3FU3-c/видео.html

Thank you so much for this video. I was stumped and your easy to follow video helped me finish building my edge bed.
Side note with the head board light, if you hold the button down you can also use it as a dimmer. Thanks for the post guys !

The black little bar goes on the top of the slat frame on the headboard side
