Trinny you are so so so right- every woman should get dressed for her self. I like to get dressed and see people that care about what they are wearing- I think it shows respect for themselves. Love your videos and mostly your knowledge and your vitality
What a beautiful gift for your newborn daughter!! I would love to be a fly on the wall when you hand it over on the day Lyla turns 18!! I think your best book is the Body Shape Bible. I bought it and it helped me guide my three daughters through their own style process during the teenage years. It was illuminating for me as well. You are such a treasure and I sincerely hope you are honored with a Damehood one day!!
I always love it when you share your closet with us. So many treasures and great ideas. I wish you could bottle your energy and zest for life. Thank you for giving me a joyous start to my day.💖💖
So informative and fun. You bring me so much joy with your zest for life, your love of colour and your funny stories. Brilliant! Loved this episode. Lyla is gorgeous and funny too. Jenny bless her and wow chicken sausages are ace!
I have a list of all the clothes i own. I started making it when i had very few pieces, so it was not much work to make it, and now i just update it. On this list i note all the times I worn a piece, i indicate change of seasons. So i can easily see what i forgot about, what is really not matching my style, what is being worn all the time (so can be doubled or upgraded to a more quality piece). Often at the beginning of the week i choose pieces that I would like to include in my weekly outfits - not to go for the easy pieces all the time. It is extremely practical, I dare say.
Not sure if it's the screen but the yellow jacket makes your skin look jaundice in this video. Thank you for all the hard work you and your team out in.
I agree with your comments about Zara sizing. It's especially sad when it affects young girls body confidence as they are made to feel bad about their dress size and may not fit into Zara clothes at all.
The colour section of What You Wear Can Change Your Life seriously changed my life. I use it for wardrobe choices, but also (as a home seamstress and avid knitter and interior dec person), I’ve gone to the charts again and again to plan colourwork sweaters and to put together unexpected outfits and even quilts. Thank you, Trinny! It’s like a bible of colour.
You’re so spot on about body types. You described mine exactly, the colouring that goes with it and the colours that go with it. It's as if you know me ! And I love colour after decades of neutrals ! You’re an inspiration. PS TO ZARA - Trinny is your best advertising. Give her free clothes at the least !!
I am new to your channel and I am hooked. I find myself watching you every time I am on RUclips and here I am again. Currently in my 60+ and the sizes in my lifetime are in my 20+(size2), 30+(size2-4), 40+(size4-10), 50+ (sizes12-16), 60+(size12 so far). I purchased so many beautiful clothes but unfortunately I can’t keep them like you. Most of my shoes and clothing were donated as my size changed throughout the decades. I have however after watching you started to dress up more. Life is to short to dress dull and average. I find myself wearing more casual-tailored type of outfits with a bit of sparkle. Thank you.
I just loved the impromptu tour of your bags - felt I was in the room with you: such fun! The measuring was hilarious - I'm off to measure myself now. Lyla was such fun too.
That’s was absolutely brilliant. So much advice and help - thank you - off to measure myself. You have joy and enthusiasm in abundance- quite infectious. Xx
I'm a heavy Bell, 5'6" tall, and have a long body with short legs. I also have the same issues with my ankles as @TrinnyWoodall, and have ankle-cropped some of my dress pants and jeans, and LOVE IT! I appreciate that as you're dressing yourself, you're explaining styling tips appropriate across the board, and shape-specific as well.
"ZARA SIZING SUCKS BIG TIME" Love their cloths but really hard to get something to fit I'm 14-16 and XL doesn't always fit. And most of the beautiful things are only in smaller sizes Love from Australia
OMG thank goodness for that little tutorial on how to measure yourself to see if you are long bodied or not....finally I know the answer and more importantly why.....you are a genius Trinny and more importantly you keep it simple....thank you!!!

Please do additional live sessions with your audience! I missed this post as it aired and would love to have an opportunity to request assistance with color categories as well as body shapes. I greatly enjoyed this video. Thank you!
I found the Trinny London Lookbook extremely helpful when I bought my stack. I had made a list for purchase, and then I saw your video with Caroline Labouchere, who has very similar coloring, especially since I let my blond streaks go grey. Like Caroline, I live in the desert and usually have a suntan, so I adjusted a few of my Lookbook items for that, and it worked perfectly!
Yes don’t need a Chanel bag at all these days we hardly have a need for one. I like variety and leather but not advertising for a company! Sending love Trinny keep going!🦋
I have been watching your videos for a few months now and absolutely love them. As I try to reach out to make my wardrobe more me and more colorful, I find myself struggling a bit. I am a young mom (kiddos are 4 and 1) and truthfully being glamorous does not feel right for me most of the days. I do get a few chances a year to dress up and glamorize but I would love to see more styles for young moms who want to look fabulous but also comfortable, and in clothes that wont stress me out if my kids wipe chocolaty hands on. I don't want to have to stop being stylish because my kids are messy, but I also have to be practical. I know you have a daughter so I would imagine you've passed through this stage as well. I would love to see your take on stylish, practical, comfortable and fun mom outfits. Thanks!

Trinny, where are your glasses from? I'm sure you've answered this before, but I don't know where and I need some new prescription glasses ASAP and am really struggling to find the style and exact shape I want. Yours are exactly it!
I hate Zara sizing as well, I am generally a UK size 12 in tops (or Medium) or UK size 10 in trousers (or Small) but I have returned so many things I purchased online because it's either too small or too big. The size recommendation the app gives you it's worthless more like a lotto.

Love this video and your interaction with your beautiful sweet Lila and Jenny!! ! Watching a month later and coincidentally just ate a whole plate of chicken sausages, too!! 😜🐔
Hi Trinny! I love your videos. Funny and informative. I don’t have a good relationship with myself because I have always saw my shot heavy thighs and chunky ankles. Short fine honey blonde died hair and narrow lips. I guess my skin is peachy, some redness showing on one side of my face. If I don’t wear makeup I look like I don’t exist. I’d say my arms are the best future. I’m flat chested too. Any mid length dress makes me look like a grandmother from the rural place. I’m 48 . 49 on 28 th January. Oh help ..!!
Zara and H & M have a few really classy shorts suits and I believe as women get older bermuda shorts look quite good, especially as part of a suit and offer a great alternative and if women have good legs then they can wear shorts at any age especially with heels.
So gooood! I implore you pretty please with sugar on top: get the European high street stores...all of them to offer high waist NO PLEAT trousers, wide in all pant circumferences, wide, straight, ankle in very fabric imaginable. Oh the few I have I wear ALL THE TIME, we need more. TIA you’re brilliant btw...
Okay, moved from colorado to WINE country california in October 2019, had last period!!!MENOPAUSE December 2019, country and lifelong 24 hour fitness closed March 2020, drank alcohol instead of eating food and didn’t know estrogen would be my best friend till November 2020, hence gained 15 lbs all over!!!a body including menopause belly. Holy shit! I turned into a Doric Column! How do I dress all this?
Trinny, I have REALLY broad shoulders. Like grid iron player shoulders. No exaggeration. I can't wear faux fur coats, for instance; racer back, halter neck, and boat neck tops are all out for me too. What sort of tops do you think will add the illusion of smaller shoulders?
Your videos bring happiness and joy to my life… No matter the subject.
I feel the same thing
Me too!
I love vintage bags!! The thrill of finding something unique and pre loved is addictive💕
I love you Trinny. You are such a friend to women.

tennis shoes on it in charity shop for a fiver. Have had sooooo many compliments on it.

Ah Trinny, so glad I have found you, perfect timing, you are fun, smart, and fashionable at once, and it’s quite refreshing !! 💛xo
I love what you said about making an effort to be more put together. I always feel better when I'm overdressed rather that underdressed.

When you measured your leg length was it from crotch to floor, or just to where trousers would end??
There is so much style competition. I like my body, even though I have gained weight since being back in Germany.
