- Last week we got access to metal detect two 1700's houses that sit right next to each other. Each one has a massive yard with tons of grass for easy swinging, detecting, and digging. We started on one of the houses last week and pulled some amazing 300 year old coins, War of 1812 buttons, silver coin spills, and even a Spanish Silver Reale! But now we move to the second house and things really start to pick up. More old coins, rare silver coins, lot of cool relics, and even GOLD… yes I said gold! What a location this was so sit back with some popcorn and I hope you enjoy this epic metal detecting adventure!

riches penny is a DUMP penny,,, a dump can mean a few things,, ,,,to dump,,as in unload,,, disregard,, a superb penny wow..the fine grade it came up......,, love how you didnt over clean it,,, those old pennies with the ghostly Britannia reverse always age well after being left completely to dry out,,, work a touch of wax into them ,, they stabilise,,, and the patina then starts to develope. this is why we love finding historic coins and other old items,,,i wish i could find your coins here in the uk

Is there a spot in your book for an 1864L indian head cent? Do you already have it? Its the first indian head cent I've ever found and from what I understand Its extremely rare and valuable. The entire thing is corroded green and still has every bit of detail.

S mintmarks are the most common here in Utah so I have been very fortunate to have found 3 1908-s IHC's in the last 2 years. Still looking for the 09's though. Awesome hunts fellers.

I collect and use vintage double edge safety razors!
Got the same Indian book. I find myself switching them out for better ones so often I have it all wore out. Once I get the whole collection the way I want it I’ll get a new book. All dig and I have 5 spots to fill in my 3 years detecting.
The Mercury dime that was found looked like it had a "cud" error over top of the head.
That was an amazing hunt Jason and crew. So many relics and coins saved there and not to mention Merrill's ring which he graciously returned. Well done guys!

The KG1 1/2 penny caralog id is KM# 549 if the date 1717 or 1718. If the date is 1719-24 it is the KM# 557. All valued around $20. in G to VG condition.
