Lee Proctor here, I would appreciate it if someone would address the live traffic issue in Mercedes e-class. Since they stopped supporting Sirius live traffic in 2017 I have not been able to receive any traffic announcements although it’s set to make announcements. The necessity to look at the screen to view tailbacks and traffic issues creates unsafe driving conditions.
Thanks bro. What’s up with the 2 “dots” in the headlamps? Is that Mercedes way of continuing the e-class’s trademark dual head lamps on each side that it always had since the 90s?
Thank you so much for this video. I’m in Asheville and choosing between the E 450 and Tesla S. I’m SOLD. I’m going to order my E 450 Monday. If I were on the west coast I would order from you!
i think ur confused about the engines, the e450 does not have an electric motor, it is the same v6 from the c43/c450, the e53 engine is the one with the electric motor and shares its engine with the cls53...
@@RANDsreviews ah true, it has the electric motor and the 53's have an electric supercharger, except i dont know what you mean about the e53 being 2 door coupes, i got a 2021 e53 sedan on order?!
Is the dealership being truthful that the WHOLE seat is leather (not just seating surfaces) with the leather package? Also the dealership says new car prices won’t change when the chip shortage is over. Is he lying when he says only used car prices will decline? I am considering trading in my 18’ Lexus ES 350. It is better to trade in and build my Mercedes now or just wait? I know on the flip side my car loses value with time. Please advise. The dealership knows better that I’m in no rush and only interested in ordering a car but he was eager to help me order one thou. Just making sure I’m not being taken advantage of being a woman. Just to be clear I’m in no rush and have all the time in the world to wait if I have to.
I believe there’s a package for full Napa Leather, otherwise it’s synthetic leather which looks and feels like real leather. From what my contact at Mercedes’ says, they will keep less inventory, so their cars will sell at MSRP or mark up now and after the chip shortage is over. If you get an E Class now, you might get it at MSRP. Of course negotiate. Don’t trade your car in to MBZ. They will low ball you. Take it too Carmax or Caravana. They’ll give you the highest price now. You will get a lot for your car since it’s a Lexus. If you’re in The LA area I’ll ask my contact to give you a discount of MSRP. Good luck!!! Sorry for the delayed response.
@@RANDsreviews Mercedes actually offered me more than caravans and in doing so paid off my car. The other way I would have negative equity. I do have another question thou. Is there any way you can order a ‘German car?’ There Mercedes are way nicer than in the US. They have the estate option (star on the bonnet not the grill, and their headrests are nicer). See this video link for reference. ruclips.net/video/6S0gfezQtxI/видео.html
@@RANDsreviews ok thanks. I’m actually a longtime Lexus person but the interior doesn’t feel luxurious like a Benz. It’s the fact Merc isn’t as reliable as the Japanese car brand that scare me a bit from making the transition. I watch Scotty Kilmer vids but after watching this one and reading the scary comments of expensive maintenance costs I’m a bit scared. I read a disturbing fact by a commenter that you can’t register a car in Germany over 7yrs old; they are sold to Southern Europe & Spain and eventually end up in Africa. Guessing b/c of depreciation. Another commentator said the German Mercs last longer than those made for US markets b/c they aren’t overloaded with technology. @@nikkir5527 Scotty is good entertainment. You should take some of his videos with a grain of salt. He knows a lot but off on some. I watch him too ! You’re probably right about the reliability and German parts do cost more but there are a lot of positives. They’re more luxurious, exclusive, better technology, and you’ll get more attention. As far as ordering one to your spec, do more research , but Rafael says that you should work with a rep at a dealership to build yours instead of building it online on mbusa. You’ll get a better experience when you work with a seasoned consultant and if you have questions that person can answer it right away. The good experience comes when you have a very knowledgeable rep. I’m not sure about registering it. I’m doubting it since the car you order is a USA spec. A sales consultant will know. They do it all day! People always customize their Maybach, and S Class. A good/big Mercedes-Benz dealership will even have a showroom where you can see and touch the materials, paints and rims. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Keep on going!

Beautiful. The front end reminds me of the Amg-gt 4 door. Not feelin the rear end tho.
You have a good eye! It does have an AMG PACKAGE on the sticker. But doesn’t mention what parts are AMG. I’ll post the sticker in a few weeks.

I’m not quite sure what those two dots represent. Most likely though to continue the trademark. Thank you for tuning in!
It’s just the way Mercedes will be doing design. 2 for Eclass and 3 for SClass
