I just got the 2021 AMG E53 sedan. White exterior and beige interior. Love the car for the luxury and performance. It even gets good gas mileage for a performance car.
Well done video. This is by far one of the best intro on the E series. You talked very clear and interesting. I like your humorous comment on the 12v outlet at the rear seat, so funny. Guess we can't have everything perfect. 👍 Thumb s up Christ.
I agree with many of the comments about the amazing flow of this review. As a company chauffeur that drives one of these e350 models among others, this was a refreshing review. Might i suggest you use this as a portfolio exhibit for becoming an official MB (and / or other brands) video reviewer.
12V rear seat port has a USE CASE with some executive clients, it allows for more versatility with charging ports. With a 12V adapter, you can use a speed charger or even 3/4 port adapter, allowing for 65-100W charging via a variety of cables, as well as cigarette to inverter for something like a laptop all with one beefer port (12v/180W).
It is beautiful...I wonder how much it would be to replace all that stuff if it glitches once the warranty runs out. In fact that goes for ALL of the electronics going into cars nowadays!
@@The_Notorious_CRG I’ll tell you one thing. Thirty years from now, when you might find one in a field. That’s where it will stay. No one will have interest in fixing the glitches.
now THAT is an interior! Great review as always Chris. While I would hesitate to spend $80K on a 2-liter, I trust you when you say that the mill does it's job. But $80K will get you some really nice slightly AMGs nowadays!
Yeah, it's definitely all about choice, The_Notorious_9. And that's what luxury is all about. There are AMG-lite cars that give you more power, yet less luxury or you can get this with less (yet functional) power and a world of luxury. As always, thanks for watching!

Good review. I don’t know much about Benzes but I thought the C class was the entry level car. That interior is nice but keeping it clean would be impossible for me. I’ve had my car for 4 years now.
Thank you, David Prosper. You're correct, the C-class was the entry-level car (there are lower models, now), but we were referring to the 350 trim of the E-class, which was typically the base trim. That trim typically had MB-Tex seat coverings and more plastic than wood. Not anymore! LOL This is a beautiful vehicle. Thanks for watching!
Fantastic review as always. But for $80k..I agree with other reviewers that it's a joke to have such a low powered engine. $80k should be getting you at least 350-400hp. And for that kind of money..the rear seats should be adjustable and ventilated/heated..there should be a third climate zone..and there should be monitors behind the front seats. I hate to say it..but this car is going to make more people look at the Genesis brand which makes many of the things I mentioned standard at this price level. Happy New Year, Chris!
80-grand is a lot of money, no doubt, but what's being missed is that this car has $30k worth of options, some tech-wise that the Genesis (and other luxury cars) don't offer. Take those off or choose more wisely and this car can be a bit more reasonable, with the exception of the "Mercedes tax." 😜 Believe it or not, aren't mad at the price. As you said in your Genesis G90 video.."peer pressure is a bitch"..lol..so I already know I will be ribbed by friends/fam for buying a Toyota over a Lexus. I appreciate your input and thank you!
@@Nightbird. Lexus has tweaked their touchpad over the years so it actually functions a little better than it did in 2016. (Or maybe we're just getting used to it.😅) Plus, Lexus/Toyota move very slowly with adding tech when compared to other companies so we'd definitely go for the newer model, if possible. The Avalon is a fine vehicle and looks great, too, but no you won't get the same clout with it that you would from a Lexus and it sounds like that plays a role in your decision, too. The trunk is definitely small, canonlybeme4life. The rest of the interior is rather spacious, though. Good looking vehicle but severely under-power
We wouldn't call it severely underpowered, as the turbocharger makes a huge difference. That being said, we do understand the point you're trying to make. Engine downsizing is becoming the norm now so if it typically had a V8, it's got a turbo 6. And if it had a 6-cylinder, now it's a turbo 4. Thanks for watching, Webster Kollie!
"I can't believe it is E class!" What is that supposed to mean? E class is not entry level. It is actually 3rd step up - above A and C. I would rather say: I can't believe E class is now 80 grand. Rear end is ugly. Reminds me Infinity from 20 years ago. And interior while nice is like old people's car - a bit too "sofa coach".
Back seat just too tight and no recline and no heated seat. Piano black is whack too. I don’t know.

Engine sounds like a Civic not like a 350
LOL Unfortunately, that's what the new 350 sounds like. Times are a changin' lancelot643. Thanks for watching!
THE WHEELS RUIN IT
But reliability will suck tho 😬
Yeah reliability does suck with BMW not Benz
@@Gjtrhbt you must be living in Germany otherwise Audi, benz and bmw are worse than eachother 😂
@@aryub5851 You drive Kia cars 😂
@@Gjtrhbt Asian cars are way better than german junk. I will drive kia anytime if i had one. You don't know 💩 about cars chill tf out
i found this car underpowered
The e-class is no longer an attractive ride.
Ok sir/ma’am
@@Gjtrhbt haha I like that!! 👩🏽🎤🧑🏽🎤

Just another German money pit
Fool's Luxury..
Sounds like garbage
Why would you buy a Benz when you can get a Hyundai with more styling, more reliability, better gas mileage and more features for less
lol why not just take the bus or ride a bike
Nothings classy about this car anymore. Looks like a Ford Tempo to me.
Stop hating 🤡
great review
Thanks for watching, ivan sapi!
