I hope Senator Lieberman does not become McCain's running mate. He was a Democrat, then an Independent and now he supports McCain. He was a poor choice for Gore's Democratic running mate in 2000. He probably cost the Democrats the Presidency back then. He's almost like a McCain handler, always hovering in the background. He's Chairman of the Senate Committee on Homeland Security, working closely with Cheney. He could all too easily become a V. P. in the Cheney style - ie. the real President.
