That's a nice workshop. I'm in a small space too, similar dimensions to yours. I put my work bench on heavy duty locking casters. I pull it over to the bike then I'm not back and forth. One of the most useful things I have is an anglers waistcoat. Multiple pockets for all the little stuff. Big Time saver. Another thing of beauty is a good quality headlamp. Makes cleaning etc very precise. Had to laugh at the contents of the fridge. No food 😊
I built 4' wide 2' deep storage shelves all the way around the outside walls of my garage 26" off the floor for the bottom shelves to slide a tote under and 14" (Gallon Jug) between the shelves for the higher ones. Bigger items can go on the top shelf that don't get used much. I don't hang individual tools on the wall it is wasted space because you can't put anything in front of your tools. I use the shelves for tools also, a set of shelves has way more storage space than a section of wall plus you can use storage bins and just grab the whole set of tools if you need to go outside.
Great tips! :) My work space is rather narrow (less than 3 m in width), so in some areas I can't fit any shelves, only slim wall mounted tools. However, where possible, I try to use drawers and shelves. They definitely are space savers. Relja
Yup - that will probably remain its "default" place - where it's currently at. I still plan to make the additional "shelf" on the workbench's side, to have more room, and place the vice there (so I have the entire workbench space clear for work when needed).

Place the grinder on a separate stand away from the work bench.
