    Will like to see a video on how to update the software.

    Thank you for the video. Very good content. Would you please list me compatible receivers without and with telemetry ? 👍

    • @factoryrollracing3847
      @factoryrollracing3847  4 года назад

      I've used the Das Mikro, AGF and Powerstar receivers which are all telemetry compatible and all compatible with the M12S. The only issue I had was one powerstar receiver had the channel sticker on backwards, but they all follow the same arrangement from left to right.
      Sanwa has a really good list of their official receiver compatibility here: sanwa-denshi.com/rc/common/pdf/TX,RX%20compatible%20with%20RF190514.pdf

    How do you use the lap counter or timer? I want to time a practice session for 5 minutes and want to start the timer when I push the trigger and hear an alarm when 5 minutes is up.

    • @factoryrollracing3847
      @factoryrollracing3847  3 года назад

      You can do this with the 'interval timer' function, setting the timer to 5 mins and turning on the 'start trigger' function. This can be found in the setup menu under either INT1 or INT2. It will keep going after 5 mins, so you may wish to assign a button to 'interval timer' so you can hold it down to stop the timer. Check out page 73 & 74 in the manual.

    Is there a way to do a complete factory reset?

    • @factoryrollracing3847
      @factoryrollracing3847  3 года назад

      Not that I know of Paul, only to delete the individual models which doesn't change the 'system' settings of the radio.

    HI,- do you perhaps have an idea, how to update the M12s with a win10 PC?. The PC Link Manager3 gets no connection to the transmitter. Thanks!

    How do you bind it or calibrate it to a VXL3S ESC?

    • @factoryrollracing3847
      @factoryrollracing3847  6 месяцев назад +1

      From the VXL3S manual:
      1. Connect a fully charged battery pack to the VXL-3s.
      2. Turn on the transmitter (with the throttle at neutral).
      3. Press and hold the EZ-Set button (A). The LED will first turn green and then red. Release the EZ-Set button.
      4. When the LED blinks RED ONCE. Pull the throttle trigger to the full throttle position and hold it there (B).
      5. When the LED blinks RED TWICE. Push the throttle trigger to the full reverse and hold it there (C).
      6. When the LED blinks GREEN ONCE, programming is complete. The LED will then shine green or red (depending on low-voltage detection setting) indicating the VXL-3s is on and at neutral.

    how do you attach the hook? can you guide me please?

    • @factoryrollracing3847
      @factoryrollracing3847  3 года назад +1

      There is just one 2.5mm hex screw to undo, then slide in the hook and put the screw back in. Page 13 of the manual has instructions.

    Also do you have a video for binding and initial setup of receiver. ? Thanks

    • @factoryrollracing3847
      @factoryrollracing3847  4 года назад

      Sorry, must have missed this comment a while back. Hopefully you got it sorted, but for anyone wondering go into the system menu, then 'bind'. Scroll to the bottom of the page after setting which protocol to use (NOR, SHR, SSR) for your steering and throttle. Just use SHR mode unless you are using an analog servo (NOR) or a Sanwa Servo (SSR). Press bind on the screen first and you should see flashing arrows. While holding the bind button, power up the receiver. Press bind again on the screen and you are done.

      Are you sure the receiver is bound to your radio? Can you move the steering servo? You can also check that your throttle trim is centred before calibrating the ESC, or try reversing the throttle channel. You can also go into the throttle type menu and set it to F5:B5 (page 44 on the M12S manual) before trying to calibrate again.

    • @LuisCecilia
      @LuisCecilia 6 месяцев назад

      No succes, I try all that. Also got one of the guys that have another M12 radio to try his and same issue. So its no the radio but also not the ESC since we can make it work with a cheap radio.

      @@LuisCecilia so no movement of the steering servo?

    • @factoryrollracing3847
      @factoryrollracing3847  6 месяцев назад

      If the steering servo isn't moving you've likely either: 1. plugged in the servo/esc connectors backwards 2. failed to bind the receiver to the transmitter

    How about MOA mixing for rock crawling can't find anything on that no videos any help would be appreciated please. 👍🏻

    • @factoryrollracing3847
      @factoryrollracing3847  3 года назад +1

      Switch to an empty model on your radio and go to the system menu, then choose 'Type'. Setting this to "TYPE IX" will give you steering on channel 1, front throttle and brake on channel 2 and rear throttle and brake on channel 3. I don't have an MOA crawler but you could use dual rates or EPA adjustments to set the overdrive. I'm not familiar with how to set up the more advanced AUX mixing for dig/burn etc.

      @@driftcraze2138 great news, happy I could help! I've looked at my radio and can help more now too.. no need to adjust dual rate or endpoints to adjust the overdrive there is a specific 'MOA Mix' that will appear in the setup. If you go to the System menu and Assign the lever (or dial) to MOA mix then you can easily adjust the amount forward/rear drive bias. Still not sure about how to do dig/burn though.
