The info dumping from chat will continue to be be super overwhelming. There are so many systems in Warframe and I still get overwhelmed after 1500 hrs. Imo, sit down off stream and have a think about maybe three, four things at most that you'd like to work on and focus on those, ignoring any chat suggestions that aren't one of the things you've picked to work on.

75% discount is (or was?) real. Algorithms of the game most likely give this discount to players after they return to the game after long period of absence. And its almost never got by regular everyday players.

God! you reminded me of the most stupid argument I witnessed in reddit about whether discounts appear after a break or not

@@kenwasused don know real statistic, but on my expirience it was always like this. I've got discount after month or larger breaks. And *never any* discount on regular plays.

5:38:00 I wonder if chat would be improved by implementing a sort of upvote functionality, where the chat could live upvote / highlight certain comments as they are happening, to help select for the best / most competent phrasing. I have seen great comments answering the exact question raised in a non-spoilery way get pushed down by ill-thought-out lengthy and spoilery comments and then get ignored a couple times. On the community-side it could also improve engagement with chat and within the community as well

lich system is horribly explained ingame and somewhat intricate, and chat trying to explain it all in a million pieces was a nightmare
glad you got a good roll and it went pretty smoothly, most people aren't even aware the system exists and suddenly they have a high level enemy stealing all their loot with no way to kill it

Warframe used to be famous for the community's discipline and how nothing about Second Dream was spoiled for new players. It's sad to see so many unbelievably equally eager and unthinking people in chat asking very suggestive and spoilery questions. I wonder when the community became like that. I remember watching streamers go through the experience 3~5 years back and I remember how they were impressed that nothing about the big reveal was spoiled for them.

With Warframe growing in popularity over the years the community has gotten bigger. It's no longer compromised mainly by the veterans who had to wait years for the second dream to drop, so many new players never had to learn to love the game apart from the interesting quests. This was basically a gatekeeping process that weeded out the players who didn't respect the years-long patience required to get the next story bit.
As the veterans winded down, the protoge brought in and raised up by the veterans kept tight lipped without fully experiencing the reason why it was initially agreed upon to do so.
It's like generations of players, veterans teaching new players who become veterans and teach newer players, and eventually the respect has degraded and the current generation of players who have hit midgame have no respect for the reveal.
TL;DR: Old Tenno shakes fist at clouds, shouts "Kids these days!"

You can play the entire game picking auto fill. Sure you won't do as much damage and steel path and such will be a pain but base game requires no real skillful modding.

BG3 was criticized for being woke at launch. Every right that exists was fought for, no right happens without fight. Bad write with representation is more often than not criticized by the minorities it tries to portray. Good luck craft a community with this lack of information and dismissiviness of others.

I totally disagree with your take on overwatch lore. Backstory is what make it fun. How characters are related to each other etc. One of the biggest reason why overwatch players shiting on 2 is that Blizzard promised to give players a story campaign, then canceled it. Story videos is the thing that bring most people to the game. Lvl of polish of those shorts was compared to Disney(before they fell into sh1t).
I dont even understand your argument that giving people lore divide them. How? LoL has lore to each character, lore video, lore books, fvcking ARCANE. And people love this game even if it is sh1t with most toxic playerbase ever.
Problem with genshin clone mmo games is that they come from market and culture where Pay to win is not something bad bc they dont put wall between work and game grind. And for them buying wins in PVP by for example exclusive weapons is not wrong bc... that someone WORK to have that. Thats why losts of them are stupidly grindy for westeners that arent microtransactional whales. Thats why genshin and the other genshin are slot machines.
Pallworld wasnt so shameless as this. Pallworld was at first place a survival. This game looks exactly like warframe and even if this would be full open world mmo thats still absurdly identical.
There is a game that use similiar concept to waframe but it is its own thing. And lot of warframe conent creators try it. Its The First Descendant. I played this i think a week of beta. And its fun. Weapons shoots fun, skills are fun, story is interesting. Characters are fun, and human. It has grapling hook that make traveling and fight fun, and semi open world.
Bop Bip has chance to be immortalized in community or game. If i'm not mistaken Reb bought him not long ago on stream. BC kuva liches can be selled to other players.

The problem with spoilers isn't really that someone doesn't remember something or accidentally spoilers without thinking about what they're saying. The problem is that different people have different definitions of a spoiler.
For some people, the spoiler will be "in the future, you will unlock a system that allows you to transfer some skills to other frames." And for others, no.
Sure, there are obvious spoilers like "I can't wait to see you play horror quest, because fighting red veil is difficult if your operator has a basic amp" and someone says that before you even do War Within.
But many people give spoilers because they have a narrower definition of a spoiler than the person they are giving spoilers to.
