- Watch this demonstration of Rekluse Clutch, a product that allows a motorcyclist to ride his or her motorcycle without pulling in the clutch lever to take off, shift gears, or come to a stop. No more stalling out, tired hands in traffic, and better slow speed handling. Read the full story at WomenRidersNow.com.
Thank you ma'am for the video. My girlfriend of 63 just got her license a few months ago. After a while on a 200 Suzuki, I got her a nice 883 Sportster but she's still having trouble with starting out on hills, and pulling out into traffic. I'm working on getting her a REKLUSE auto clutch which I'll install in my Harley Dyna Performance shop. Thank you again.
RIDE SAFE AND RIDE FREE!!!
Informative. Ride hard Ride free.
Do you shift through the gears without using the clutch ?
its great when your stuck one hr in traffic
I never thought I would be looking for an autoclutch but I developed Tennis Elbow.
Notice she’s on a Sportster. HD discontinued them, choosing rather to sell high end only. I’m waiting for Rekluse to make one for Yamaha Bolt.
What a great idea! Seems to work really well.
Excuse the Noob question here: but putting it in gear will never be a diffrent way then what you've shown here you'll always be able to use your foot clutch an go?, you won't have to do anything mid ride ?
That's awesome but even with that I would use when putting in gear ⚙️ and shifting up or down still better for your trans just use for stopping and going.
I'm looking at this clutch because I have developed carpal tunnel and after about 20 minutes of City riding I can't pull the clutch in anymore without extreme pain.
You know I understand 100%. I damage my left knee at work and to this day I can walk 2 blocks ,then my my knee hurts until the 222s kick in.
Now my riding days will be back. No more pressure on my knee. I bet Harley wishes they had these to compete with Honda on their automatics.
You know I like the Indian scout, I just wrote Indian, told to add an automatic (as rekluse).
Problem parking on incline, putting in gear will not stop it from rolling down hill, you will have to use a strap to bind the front brake leaver to park any ware, but on flat ground!
I just got a disc lock and I can imagine it being helpful in that situation as long as I could steady it enough to get it on and then roll it all the way forward and THEN put it into gear. The make shift e-brake is always a good idea, though.
Need to findout what the downside of a centrifugal clutch is for every day street riding. There's always a trade-off.
I need a rekluse clutch for my s50 Boulevard
Hi I'm trying to get one of the auto clutch for my wife she has a bad left hand but there is no listing for the yamaha fazer 1000 can you help please
perfect clutch
can they be used on a yamaha 250 cc virgo
Not gonna lie I was thinking the first time she downshifted she was gonna go flying
You are still supposed to use the clutch while shifting...
Yes, unless you know how to do powershifting.
its an auto clutch... you pull the clutch in if you want to, but you definitely dont need to
Thank God 🙏
I would like that with a suicide clutch and jockey shift. That's a real nice idé there 🙂
towing would be the best option....
did't know they had something like that.
Just take the old Manual clutch lever off the Bike, why keep it On???
For looks😂😂😂
Shut up😁omg I need this
It's to prevent the bike from stalling, not to be used as a crutch.
That is a heavy motorcycle, learn the friction zone
So, you think it’s because you have knowledge they don’t & that why they want one? Like you know better? Arrogant
sounds like using training wheels to me...
What an arrogant thing to say
You have no business riding if you need this much help just to get down the road.
timothy darlington rude!! But i understand your point. However, here YOU are. Lol. Dont get mad and yell at me. Im just being funny. You sound like my husband. I personally love to ride but always had problems with hills due to my carpal and cubital tunnel that kicks during a long ride or traffic. In hopes of not giving up riding I'm checking to see if this will help.
If you don’t have hand/wrist pain, then be thankful!
Timothy, talk that way to YOUR wife or sister. Keep your dang rude comments to yourself little man. If and I say IF you were any kind of biker or a man, you'd be happy that this woman and others, perhaps with arthritis or a similar disability was in the WIND and not sitting home wining like you on the internet. Grow up little man.
So instead of learning how to ride a motorcycle you just found a band-aid. Learn to ride
