In my humble opinion, Avril is at her best when she sings the ballad, melancholy songs. Maybe because she feels them more from deep within but this is why Goodbye Lullaby is my favorite album as it has so many gems that seem genuine and not so much pop. I can not wait for album number 6!
Yes I agree that her in person is better because you hear she is a natural born artist. When she's live you only hear her voice. When you see her live you see how much emotion she puts in her songs and how much she includes her fans to sing certain parts and during that she isn't singing, she makes her fans feel more than welcome with actually involving them in the concert. I'm able to connect to allot of her songs. She also doesn't behave entitled, she does her own make up, hair, and clothing so she doesn't feel she needs all these people doing what she can do herself wether she has the money or not which tells me she doesn't have to have her ass kissed and that's a down to earth type of person,. Allot of the other's need all that for whatever reason but she doesn't feel she does. That's what makes her even more special.

In my humble opinion, Avril is at her best when she sings the ballad, melancholy songs. Maybe because she feels them more from deep within but this is why Goodbye Lullaby is my favorite album as it has so many gems that seem genuine and not so much pop. I can not wait for album number 6!

Yes I agree that her in person is better because you hear she is a natural born artist. When she's live you only hear her voice. When you see her live you see how much emotion she puts in her songs and how much she includes her fans to sing certain parts and during that she isn't singing, she makes her fans feel more than welcome with actually involving them in the concert. I'm able to connect to allot of her songs. She also doesn't behave entitled, she does her own make up, hair, and clothing so she doesn't feel she needs all these people doing what she can do herself wether she has the money or not which tells me she doesn't have to have her ass kissed and that's a down to earth type of person,. Allot of the other's need all that for whatever reason but she doesn't feel she does. That's what makes her even more special.
