I wished the "SMART GUARD" etc. ad wouldn't cover the activate effect text on master duel. I'm not up to date on most cards but I still love watching and if I was able to read the effect text boxes I could follow along.
Generic utility effect on each card? Check. Shared archetypal effect to summon a level 2 body? Check. Card that pluses you and lets you activate cards directly from hand regardless of whose turn it is? Check. Lack of battle phase presence, but a strong grind game to compensate? Check.
"Glad Maxx C and Ash are keeping the meta in check" Imagine if those cards got an errata that said they could only be used against the 3 archetypes with the most tops last YCS.
I played the 2 big mommas and 3 big welcomes as engine. It's fine I guess since you don't add too many monsters and once they're ingame you pretty much good

how much impact does that really have for this deck though? You're playing the long game, skipping one turn doesn't seem super valuable because your opponent will just pass and try again on the next turn. Getting them to commit to plays so you can take their resources away seems better
No because it's not even guaranteed to stop a lot of decks completely and Paleo aren't killing on turn 2. You also need your opponent to commit so you can activate some of your trap cards.. it's not great if they just pass and save all their resources for the next turn. It's okay in decks that can turbo out Beatrice and put up 8k damage reliably but even then I don't think it's worth it. Karma Cannon is usually more than enough and I don't want to run more potentially dead traps on top of rollback.

Not Josh, but my first impression of those cards is that power wall is too specific and not great for activating paleos, and ghost meets girl is a brick that doesn't have that great of a reward considering how little this deck can do in a turn

i swear the shuffler always gives you a lot of normal summons. I have a burn trap deck with 10 monsters and somehow I consistently draw 3+ monsters.

There’s a card called destruction of destiny which mills three but you take 1000 every spell/trap
