- Anatoly Evdokimov was finishing law school and moonlighting as a barman when he did his first drag show. Becoming a performing artist never crossed his mind -- it was just a bit of fun to amuse people at the bar. But his impersonations of Tina Turner, Liza Minnelli and Barbra Streisand were such a hit that soon he was offered regular weekend slots at another Moscow club.
The shows became more elaborate, outgrowing local clubs, and he left his law career behind. Now the Evdokimov Show struts its stuff in big concert halls all over Russia and abroad, not to mention private events for the rich and famous. Photos on the Internet show him hobnobbing with Vladislav Doronin and Naomi Campbell, who once flew him to Switzerland to perform at an exclusive party.
Muscovites have the chance to see Yevdokimov's new mega-show, "Ya Sdelal Vsekh" (I've Done Them All), at two 10th-anniversary jubilee performances in Moscow's Estrada Theater this Thursday and Friday, April 26 and 27. An ambitious extravaganza serving up a bit of everything from ancient Egypt and Rome to Moulin Rouge and disco, it promises "one soloist, two concerts, 20 dancers, 100 images, 1,000 costumes, 100,000 sequins and a million smiles."
The once all-male troupe is now supplemented by female dancers. This was a stunning performance, a great twist on the original. VOGUE obviously lends itself well to all fashion and period fashion as she so well executed at the MTV awards in the Marie Antoinette fashion, but these men were amazing. LOVED IT!

I actually thought this was going to be from Madonna’s tour. Very well done! The only thing that gave it away was Madonna’s tour would have been a lot more diverse.

Помню как Анатолий выступал на закрытии клуба 3 обезьяны на цветном бульваре, показывал ко всему прочему и Тину Тёрнер и копчиком о край сцены ударился, удар сильный был очень, с полного роста ! Так вот боль была адская- это он в гримёрке потом уже позволил себе покричать в голос. А на сцене даже не показал этого ! Я тогда уже понял что он уникальный актёр. И он всё смог !) Грандиозно. 17.11.19г.

This is beautiful, but seriously - with a performance like this, why would you use this subpar recording of the song? (Yes, I know where it's from). The original was flawless, but Madonna's vocal ability has definitely declined since 1990. I could have understood if there were elements not in the original, but that's not the case here. The original could have been easily mixed on a basic audio program.
I actually like the My Fair Lady crossover. The end though is a pure Blonde Ambition redo. You know these queens rehearsed their hearts out...
