2:50 It seems you guys don't know there's a pandemic called "CoVID-19" affecting everything. The city of Laos is currently in lockdown

Laos is completely changed.
I cannot imagine the skyscrapers in Vientiane !
I really want to visit it !!
Thank you for making a video clip about my country. I like every clip of your video.
Thank you too!
Wow, I can’t wait to go back there. The train is awesome. We now will have more access to every corner of Asia. Thank you Mario and Olivia. Short brief video but full of good info.
yep, it will definitely make it easier to see more of Laos! Thank you 🙏
The train system looks great now. It appear the land locked country of Laos will have excess to China and other countries. But as we have seen so far, China has not accepted Laos exports to China, unless the business in Laos are owned and operated by the Chinese. I fear that more Chinese will come to Laos and control Laos eventually. Now most of the big businesses and expensive real estate are already owned and operated by the Chinese.
Yes part two please, it is critical for those thinking about moving there to know the landscape, landmark buildings and industrial business parks, keep up the good work guys!
Thanks!
Yes please bring part 2,3,4 and thanks you for sharing ❤🙏
A good update Olivia & Mario👍… great to see you guys diversifying your content .. keep em coming .. stay safe & well 🙏
Mamma always said that if one doesn’t have good things to say.. keep it 🤐 so that’s my two cents worth on the abandoned developments * for now 😉🤣
Thanks as always! 🙏

Yes, please do a Part 2 and more on Laos development. Wish lots of success and prosperity for the Laotian people! Hope the China/Laos/Thailand/Malaysia railway will bring lots of development for the peoples of these countries!!!
Great video guys
Very interesting! Yes, please do more videos on the projects in Laos.
Great content. Part 2 please.
You guys are awesome! Thanks for making this video
Thanks for watching 🙂
I traveled through Vientienne a few times when I lived in Chiang Mai to renew my Visa. It had something about it that was very special. Miss that place!
Thank you very much sir for promoting
you're welcome 🙂
yes please - do a part 2!
Loved the video but not the development! Laos is our favorite country in SE Asia. We want it to progress but hope it will not change so much to be a totally different place. But we need to know what is happening, so please continue with these videos. Good job!
I also don't want Laos to become part of China. Communist governments like the CCP have the bad habit of destroying the religion and culture of the countrys they enter. Not to mention the people.
Thanks for showing
The railway is certainly the most significant new project in Laos. There are certainly pros and cons, but hopefully in the long term this will prove to be a sound investment. I do hear that Singapore has opted out of their part of the extansion southwards though, but hopefully it will still eventually reach Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur. Nice realistic informative video.....hope you will do more like this especially when the railway opens. 👍👍😊😊
Fingers crossed it will be! Thanks for letting us know, glad you enjoyed the video, we look forward to taking a trip on the train if we get a chance!
Also a debt trap
@@vishnuvijwani Laos is smart with what they do, they can afford it that’d why they do it
is not a debt trap.
debt trap is by IMF world Bank. thieves.
those rail links is for transporting people no for profit.
if china get the amount of food to feed 1.4 billions people good enough
@vishnuvijwani so you are better businessman then chinese.

Good to see development in Vientiane 10-15 years ago Vientiane is like a sleepy small town compare to other capitals in South East Asia
Sabaiydee well come to Laos 🇱🇦

I like the idea of cheaper and faster transportation. Maybe the costs of products will decrease too.
Hope so!
Everything will be cheap

omg could believe it 2014 I was there and 2015 my favourite land it change now sad
I was there in late 2018....so all I can say is WAT?! The fact that there wasn't a shop like Starbucks was something I always remember. I did see Pumpkin Spice lattes advertised in Luang Prabang tho lol

Good morning from Washington state 👋 how are you doing there my friend, that tallest building is seen long time never completed 😊🥰🙏🙏😊
Hello! hope you're well. Yes it seems abandoned, hope they finish it one day!
I am Lao people, I hope oneday. I will see you Friend.
Hi Mario and Olivia, not too sure about the increase in advertising taking place in your recent blogs. Up until now have really enjoyed your vids, hope you are both well and stay safe.
Hi Stephen, there isn't actually any ads in this video, just a sponsorship with Skillshare. We hope you can understand that we put a lot of time and effort into making these videos and we get paid a very small amount for it, even less now that they tax creators who have USA viewers. The reason we have ads sometimes is so we can spend more time making videos and not both work full time jobs, which if we did, we wouldn't have time to make videos here at all. Hope this makes sense, thanks for watching!
Luv u guy 🥰🥰🥰
🙏🙏
I would like to see Part 2. I appreciate learning about the "development" happening there. To the extent that it actually helps Lao people, I am happy about it. Personally I am not super excited about it. I don't go to Laos to go to Starbucks or the Intercontinental Hotel or Crowne Plaza. From my home in the USA, I can walk to all of these.
Sponsors and advertising are part of the RUclips game. After all, viewers do not pay anything (at least paying is not mandatory). But please be careful about balancing the number of seconds for advertising/sponsor time vs. total running time of a video. This particular video seems like a fairly high % of total time on advertising/sponsor time.
Wel come to vientiane laos🇱🇦🇱🇦
Thank you 😊
More like this !!!! 😂👏😊
Please do part 2
Luang Prbang heritage gorgeous( times stop here ) , Vang Vieng stuning beauty of natural mountain ,river and air(Nobody wanna go home when be here) , Vientiane (sleepy capital of Asean )place to stop for flying home.

💞Laos ,
Yes! Please share more about the development in Vientiane Capital. I am kinda worried about the future of Laos by investment too much depended on China, an unreliable ally. Also as an environmentalist, the destroy of nature is also one of my concerns.
We definitely agree with that, Laos is losing its nature slowly 😔
It is also a trade-off between economy and environment 😞 I believe economic development will bring well-being to Laotian. I have done my master’s thesis in environmental studies of urban wetland development with Laos and will go there for a workshop with my professor. I hope the future of Laos can strike a balance between economy and nature 🙏
Laos's world class project
fc from Vientiane
สะบายดี
It's unbelievable. I have spent a year in Laos in 2010/11 and have visited again in 2016. I doubt I would recognise anything in Vientiane right now. It's probably good for the people but also a bit sad.
It's also worrying how much influence China is gaining over Laos.
Why is China’s influence worrying. Why doesn’t your country offer alternative development at lower costs? Don’t complain about others, work harder and do better.
If you actually give a shit about the Laotian tell your country to offer a better deal. Don't the people Laos deserve to live better and progress to better life?
. When China builds Roads, Rail , ports to other countries, some call it “invasion”. When America drops bombs on other countries, some call it “liberation”
Yes. That's absolutely 💯% true❗️
China is building the railroad.
China is building the buildings.
Laos small country are big power
