Just full of admiration for this one. The pair of you displaying an integrity in perseverance, abiding by that no trespassing sign and dealing with the stranglehold the weather had. Love the purist thinking in swerving the car assisted option too.

Thank you mate, I think some of the routes have changed since the book was released with farmers owning the land, always try and keep the videos transparent as well to help others out, long day but definitely worth it in the end 👍👍

Cheers Ritchie, It turned out all good in the end, I like to break the walks down and be transparent for people to see the ups and downs of Wainwright bagging 👌👍

Great video, and thanks for all the info at the end. I’ve been looking into this walk and thought the route from Bakestall to Great Cockup looked sketchy. I’ve already done Binsey with the kids so, after watching your video, I’ll definitely break the rest down into two walks 👍

Thank you mate and no problem, yeah that walk can be a headache at times.and definitely worth splitting up if your happy to do it, only with us living so far away we wanted to get it all done at once, thanks for watching mate 👌

Cheers mate, totally agree, I will only give up if it's crazy weather conditions and I'm in danger otherwise I'm going to finish the route. Not ideal but I learned a good few lessons from this walk that I can use for the foreseeable. Thanks for the watch mate 👌

Hey Matt like your summary at the end of your videos on parking and where routes start 😊 even in the cloud it looks fun

I thought it might be a good idea mentioning the parking in my newer videos as it's useful 👍 yeah it was a fun day in the end and can't always have the best views 😂 thank you 👌

You're a better man than I am Matt. I think with the weather & visibility being as poor as it was, after the route issues from Bakestall I would deffo have headed back to the car. Fair play to you.

Can't win em all mate, when you have to drive 2 hours and the weather turns out to be bad I just feel like I have to crack on with it 😆, thanks for the watch pal 👌👍

I stayed at the Keswick retreat lodge and over the road was Binsey. I decided to do Binsey on it’s own it’s it’s so isolated. Gutted when I realised it could be grouped up with the others you done after it, but am glad I’ve done it on its own as you seem to think it was a bit of an inconvenience. Great vids. I’ve enjoyed watching them all

Such a pain in the A this one, I remember when I done the route the book had suggested driving between the fells if you wanted, I didn't want to do that but it sort of makes sense, if I wasn't driving over 2 hours from where I live, I would of done a lot of them singular as well mate, at least you've bagged it and can move onto the others another time, thanks for watching the videos mate, I really appreciate it 😀

@@MattDoesMountains yeah I live in Liverpool myself mate. It’s nearly a good 3 hours in certain parts for us. Like Wasdale or Eskdale is a nightmare.

Hi mate I use outdoor active to track my walks and navigate, it has a voice feature so you can just leave it in your pocket if you go off track 👍
