Obviously the officers and the HOR have different understanding and interpretation of the circular affecting the entire process of CFs usage, disbursement and liquidation. It is natural to have different interpretations that is why ordinary people cannot practice law just by searching through Google. If this is in aid of legislation, other agencies who have CFs must be called and investigated too, to see if the same problems exist. In order to find out the root cause of the problem and its gravity, the investigation should not be exclusive to the OVP. The focus must be on the crafting and improvement of the law and not on the persecution of the individuals. If discrepancies and possible violations of the law is observed, then the HOR should make proper endorsement to the right agencies to investigate further. But then again, the HOR's focus must be on finding out why the problems exist and how they can improve our laws. It is not the HOR's job to focus persecuting people. They must also check their house rules and make sure that they are in accordance with our existing laws. They cannot just disregard our constitution just because of their house rules. They are NOT above the law. Clearly they are violating the rights of the resource persons. You can see it by mere observing how the resource persons are being treated. If you compare their hearing with other court proceedings you will see how problematic things are. They might argue that, they are not the court and their process is not to persecute but is in aid of legislation. Exactly. Other lawyers have pointed out their violations during their hearings but, the HOR do not want to acknowledge their mistakes. Instead they are quick to dismiss their colleagues and often than not argue with them. People have observed that in the house, the only acceptable answer and truth is the narrative of the HOR. If you say differently, you are a liar. The HOR can never be wrong. If you say so, then you will be cited in contempt. Imagine going to an invent alone as a guest, then you end up being interrogated, intimidated, called a liar and detained without being allowed to talk freely to explain yourself while being bombarded with questions by different people. It's just you and there are 20, 30, 40 or more on their side, including the security team. It may feel like being ganged up on. Whether you are telling the truth or not, it is scary if your liberty is being threatened. This is the observation that was pointed out by other people who have been following these hearings. All I am sure of is that, if this country goes down.... we all go down. The powerful ones always have the option to leave everything and everyone behind. It is us who gave them that power. And it is us, who would greatly suffer.
