- hello, it's me. another month another video.
i have a lot of feelings and no words to really convey them. we hit 44k subscribers yesterday (perhaps the day before that, who's counting? not me!) and, on this day last year, i had around one and a half thousand. and that is weird. good weird.
nov 16th 2020, i posted a video and i went to sleep. that's about it. i put on my funny little unus annus shirt and i sang a fun little song and i put it into the hands of a thousand people and now there are... decidedly, a lot more of you. and i've had a wonderful time meeting you and getting to make noise for you. i still don't quite know what im doing or who i am - but i've been doing and... am-ing regardless. you allowed me into your screen and you've been a very gracious host and i couldn't ask for a more welcoming and kind group of people to hold hands with.

i love how these two sound like a conversation between songs, where one (happier than ever) is realizing how toxic the other one is and the other one (boring) just keeps pushing and "treating [the other one] this shitty" and blaming them for being themself.
while it could simultaneously be seen as one person's two views on life conflicting with each other and they think they're the boring one, but the other half is realizing how toxic of a mindset that is. genius mashup and the harmonies are gorgeous! thank you!

I think these songs match so much. Happier Than Ever is about someone who makes you so miserable and depressed that you would rather be far away from them. Boring is about a relationship where one partner is so bored of the other partner and the relationship entirely. They both fit so much and this is a masterpiece. Thank you for making this mashup.

i’ve had this song on repeat since i’ve found it. i loved the As the World Caves in x Cancer mashup! But this one in particular reminds me of a narcissistic relationship. Like one is entirely in love with the narcissist, but they know they have to let go. And the narcissist is simply using them for entertainment. I adore the way in which you sing, “What are you boring me for?”

I found Atwci x Cancer a few months before I went off to college, and I fell in love with it. It put into words how I felt about leaving, and I admit I cried to it a few times. Now, almost finished with my first semester, I’ve been listening to your covers a lot (I love Atwci x cancer, and all your IDKHow covers are great and Michelle x EIBTM is another one of my favorites).
Your voice is amazing, and you are extremely skilled at singing (just in technique and how you convey emotion really well), and I love how to fuse the songs together in your song combination videos. All of them fit together really well and I absolutely love them. Your audio mixing is also really good, it really makes everything fit together well (in tone and lyrics, honestly all the song combinations work in a multiple ways and it’s really cool).
