When I went to Cuba , I rented a car ''not cheap , but I got one , I drove to Santa Clara , to Remedios back to Havana at night , next day took of to Pinar de rio ,on my way to Vinales , beautiful Mountains and water flowing down to La palma , next day to a beach call Playa Pajaritos , plenty of Europeans soaking the sun and beautiful clean water , but ,if you want to know Cuba , park the car , and start walking ,from Ave Paseo to old Haven del East , bring your camera and good walking shoes , I took over 100 picture of Historical Building , I love Cuba and want day return soon ,
In 2012 I backpacked alone through Cuba. I also went to Trinidad. I met a few other travellers and went rented bicycles and ride out to the beaches. Didn’t take long and it was a spectacular day. I loved Cuba.

The town was build 23 of December 1514 So is now 505 years old like my house witch was part of the Conde Becker castle. Love my town, I have travel a few beautiful countries and live in Switzerland but nothing is like Trinidad.¹ God bless my country.
why do people from third world countries living in white countries always praise their home town as if it's somehow better than the first world city, but never want to live back in their "amazing home town"

Like you all I'm pretty laid back (American) that hates the crowds married to a pretty chill filipina that is MUCH better with crowds than me, but still likes the less crowded more peaceful places also. I'm new to international travel. I first left the U.S. only 3 years ago and only been to the Philippines a few times, Singapore and Malaysia. I can't wait for more. I think soon we'll venture toward central/south America and the Caribbean,,, as time and money allows...haha Have fun and safe travels! 👍👍

@@JumpingPlaces haha Same here on holding stuff in... We are hoping to be back in the Philippines May of next year for 2-3 weeks. You should look into Calaguas Island, in Daet Camarines Norte. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!! place we spent our honeymoon. No internet, island is powered in the evening and night by generator, no shops other than whoever you stay with and they are limited. We had great food who we stayed with. There are a few vlogs on it, but not many. The most amazing chilled out do nothing place I've ever seen. Only real activity is Island hopping close by and plenty of places to hike around also.
It's so nice and warm town, I've been there 3 times, we are going every January there from Montreal 1 week specially to bike there, with local nice guys! The plage is amazing in Ancon!

I went on my Brazilian passport so had no issues, just got the visa at the airport before I left there. Although I can also visit with my UK passport without issues I think. Yeah US are still holding their 60 year old grudge for some reason, from Cuba’s side Americans are free to enter with no issues! Obama had made it easier for Americans but trump recently banned all cruise ships from going to Havana unfortunately
Your experience is way different then mine has been, but I am also a well experienced Cuban traveler. Yes the odd person asking say no keep walking. Yes if you ask a taxi for a price they will say more, you say no real price and you will get it. You didn’t go to the tropical show, it’s the highlight in Havana. Like any country research is important

24$ for a ride 30km or less is a nice profit for the driver. They are smart for regulating the prices. Seems theyve priced it so locals dont give away things for almost free and they try to prevent scammers from bittering the experience but cant stop all of them and if a few scam they still win.
Is true Costa Rica is one the most expensive country in Centro America. I spent a lot money in 15 days in that country also at the time I visited. The internet wasn't good and the cellphone used it chip to connect and never work in all places.

I disagree not cheap , you are paying in CUCs , while locals pay in pesos. The food is way more expensive than the Dom. Rep. And the economy there and those prices don't match. Everything Priced for outsiders. I ventured into a regular town, and was confused for a local, the beer was 10 times cheaper. Everything is control, and the food In Havana sucks.

Everywhere I read always said Cuba was the cheapest of all the Caribbean and in my experience it was cheaper than anywhere else I had been by quite a lot. 7 dollars is definitely cheap for the Caribbean, even ate for 4 dollars many times in Cuba. @@JumpingPlaces in the DR you get 51 pesos for the dollar, I was upset that in cuba the fake money they make tourist use is worth more than the US dollar. I will never go back until they stop over charging and blocking internet. But it was an expierence.

Cape May! We had a great week up North in Sea Isle this Summer.
M Swede Va Beach had a storm last year so we ended up in Cape May which was a sweet surprise and we loved it!
