Yes that is turquoise, it does crystallize like that. Blew me away too! I've seen lots of black Mg hornblende. The titanite is like the other one you have pictured, the glassy-tan color. I find this hobby requires a ton of reading to know what youre looking at. But worth it! I got a $100 Vision (visionsci) microscope, surprisingly good for the price.

Beautiful stuff, those Italian photomicrographers are hard to beat. Anybody that’s serious about minerals needs a scope, it’s a fantastic hobby.
