My Apparel Layering System - Adirondack Adventures Gear Closet - How To Get More Out Of Your Layers

This video highlights my apparel layering system that I use for outdoor recreation activities which include hiking, alpine skiing, paddling, and mountain biking. I talk about the 3 components (Base Layer, Mid Layer(s), Outer Layer) of a successful layering system and highlights the characteristics I look for in my clothes. Much of my apparel comes from 3 manufacturers that include North Face, Outdoor Research and REI. When I know the name of the apparel I mention it but many of my layers I don't remember their specific name.
I really like Northface base and mid layers and Outdoor Research also makes some great heavier mid layers. I list a couple below.
