Moin Stephan Eine klasse Vorrichtung! Auf die Idee mit dem Frästisch wäre ich jetzt nicht so schnell drauf gekommen. Trotz Pause. Hätte es eventuell mit der Bandsäge probiert. Aber so ist es einleuchten und geneuer. 👍 👍 👍 Danke für das zeigen. L. G. Martin
Really nice vid Stephan, something very restful about this one. I liked the choice of music at the end. Is this the time of year for shearing and spinning? I saw some guys shearing a sheep a few evenings ago when I took a stroll down to our village.

Thank you Mark, it's always a pleasure to see you here :)
Hey Stephan, I made dozens of those spindles. Yes, the system looks the same, but the stick is round, and the "blades" are curved and "click:" into each other. It's after an old Turkish original. Instead of blades, you can also use a round disk as in early European ones. Hard to explain with words, but here's a link to some pictures: lumberjocks.com/projects/106856

And now if I can get her to shear the sheep and card the wool, she can also make the yarn to knit my new sweaters.
