@@michelitfr9783 I will check it out. The Rach 1 happens to be my favorite Concerto but Pletnev is quite awesome, I have many recordings of it including 14 yr old Ivan Bessonov who plays it better than Dennis Matsuev.
@@michelitfr9783 the Rach 1 is with Ormandy not Stokowski. Stokowski accompanies the composer in the 2, and Rhapsody on a theme by Paganini. Ormandy in the 1, 3 and 4th Concertos. there is a triangle in the last movement which only Ormandy lets you hear. it was inspired by the triangle in Liszts Concerto 1 which was in Rachmaninoffs repertoire when he revised his own 1st Concerto. it keeps the beat while the piano plays 'staccatisimo' simulating sleigh bells as the piano races to the end.Pure magic.
