@@christianbarrow2568 I don‘t perceive him as being impolite. I perceive him as being very innocently himself and unadapted. @@rafaelsontaya2835 that’s the mindset of someone endlessly fearful. It’s a question, it can’t hurt you. Smile, engage with people; life is short and not some trial to be endured, where a simple question like: ‘talk me through the goal’ is seen as a threat.
@@christianbarrow2568 I definitely understand your perspective and respect it. In the perspective from which I am looking onto it I see a very young man who manages to stay himself no matter how much pressure is put onto him to be politically correct or to feed the masse narrative on how societally conditioned you should appear to the spectator. He is not being defensive nor reactive, he gives clean and direct answers. He is definitely not an entertainer outside of the pitch. To some it might come off as arrogant. To me he stays true to himself, he doesn‘t sell himself, he focuses on what he is doing. And that is probably exactly what individually brought him so far. I find his behavior refreshing, I don‘t care if he smiles. I care if I want to smile or not according to the setting and if it‘s authentic in the moment. I like him to be authentic rather than being just another number that behaves how people expect him to behave based on their own inauthentic expectations of themselves.

Being impolite isn’t the sign of a strong mind. These questions are all perfectly reasonable and fair.
